Nov 28th 2011 3:07PM I can see your point of view, but lumping ALL married raiding pairs into a common 'Rejected' pile is a little harsh. And unnecessary.
My hubby and I both play WoW, and raid together. On our server, we are in one of the top 3 guilds (the rank shuffles as progression moves along, but it is always between the three guilds).
I heal, and he DPS's.
At first, only I was accepted to the guild, since healers are often in demand. When one of the DPS was having a period of intermittent overtime at work, my hubby was invited on a trial/sit basis.
He had to earn the right to be a full time raider, just as I had to earn my spot as a healer.
I think if both applicants are made to understand that no drama will be acceptable, and each spot is earned individually, AND they both accept this with maturity, then there should be no reason to consider a 'couple' for a raiding guild, even the 'hard-core' guilds.
Of course, your guild is your business, but you could be passing on some true gems in the player base by simply passing over any who apply as a couple.
Sep 26th 2011 8:30AM Here Lies Koraya:
Faithful to the end, she cast her last heal on her tank, despite Deathwing crushing her in his jaws when he realized why the tank wouldn't just die.
Sadly, after being crushed and digested within his fiery gut, there was little left of Koraya to bury in this hillside memorial.
May she rest in pieces.
Sep 24th 2011 2:10PM Plus, if you are there to kill all the 'witnesses' anyway...who cares what they see before they doe?
Sep 21st 2011 9:57PM LOL. I saw that too. Any Canadians here willing to comment on 'why' they must go through such testing?
