Nov 18th 2009 10:41AM NO! NO! NO! WRONG!
That solo druid, grabbing the flag and running it back wins the game.
That solo rogue, camping the efc and kill him/her wins the game.
That solo pali, sitting alone defending an AB flag, or AV tower/bunker wins the game.
Group buffs not the solution.
Nov 2nd 2009 6:53PM If over geared guildies are running in a naxx/os (not toc 25) pug with a ungeared guildy, chances are they're carrying the raid ( 4-6+ k dps with them, or are a great tank or great healer), making up for the ungeared friend and because they are in the raid, its moving alone nicely, because of them, and they choose to roll on an item and give it to a friend, I nothing wrong with that. Also because the overgeared people are in the raid it also gives a chance for more drops because its moving alone. Now if this pug is running ToC 25m (whose does that?), why are you bringing the ungeared person in the first place.
P.S. If you're in a pug, unless a loot rule is clearly stated. There are no rules, it is left up to him/her's disgression as the loot master.
Apr 30th 2009 8:20PM It seems to me what happened when they got this item: Said "no-way....dude! Lets see if it works," then it worked "dude it works...." . To which was responded "dude..." Then they had fun with it. I would of done the same thing. Parents, when their children prove them wrong, or prove that the parent did something stupid, often get punished. Blizzard is the same, blizz messes up, player has fun with it. Blizz gets mad.
