Apr 5th 2010 8:12PM Lolololololl and of course there isn't actually a Zangarmarsh EU. Figures. We'll choose a low pop realm though.
Apr 5th 2010 8:07PM I've been thinking about this for a while - I don't think its feasible for the wow.com staff to be able to run two guilds, especially if they are in different timezones.
However we, the EU readers of wow.com, could easily do it ourselves.
Here is my proposal: Create new characters on Zangarmarsh EU, and found an It Came From The Blog guild. (Realm and name for the sake of ease!) We'll advertise in the comments of every ICFTB article, and we'll run the same events! It just means we have to do the work ourselves.
I'd be willing to kick start the blog with a "choose my adventure" style thing, along with anyone else willing to join me.
So yeah, anyone else up for this? Its the only way we'll be able to get in on this fun!
Apr 5th 2010 2:50PM I have a question for the queue. Or even for anyone else.
I recently realised on the armoury that my characters had achieved a new feat of strength - Emblematic. For earning "any variety of Emblem".
Is this a foreshadowing of Blizzards total removal of the Emblem system in cataclysm?! Or is it more likely that its being put in place because we will be "upgrading" to a new system? (ie badges -> emblems -> ????)
Apr 2nd 2010 8:45AM My first Warcraft experience was WC3 - and the alliance do not really do that well throughout that game. The night elves are horrible, and the humans treat the Blood Elves like dirt. I quite liked dwarves, but not enough that I wanted to be a part of the Alliance.
I liked the savage nobility of the Horde, and knew that Orc Warrior was going to be my class before I even bought WoW.
Still here a few years on.
Mar 28th 2010 11:18AM I've always played my orcs with their RP personalities in the back of my mind. To me, savagery and combat are an integral part of an Orc's very nature - however, Thrall has taught them to control and temper this bloodlust, rather than give themselves over to it, as Garrosh would advocate.
In order to survive, a true orc must not only be capable of tapping into their innate brute savagery, but must also have the judgement to know when to do this.
Its the only way the Orcish race is gonna survive. History has proved twice over that Garrosh's methods lead to corruption and enslavement.
Mar 23rd 2010 8:56AM Isn't that like Seed of Corruption *sort-of*. Probably the closest I can think of.
Mar 18th 2010 8:08AM If a buff like Fort, Brilliance or MOTW is available, of course I want it! Anything that improves my performance improves my groups performance.
When it comes to things like pally buffs though, I don't mind so much. There is no need for a pally to waste their mats in a heroic for the greater blessings, and rebuffing every ten minutes (even with the ultra quick heroics of today) is a frigging nightmare. If you can't be arsed with it, I'm not gonna make you!
That said, Crusader Aura? No excuse.
Mar 12th 2010 6:57PM Whatever happens, when Garrosh becomes Warchief, I'm taking Saurfang's side.
Mar 10th 2010 7:08AM I hated healing random pugs while levelling until my brother started to play warcraft. He'd seen me on my orc warrior, and desperately wanted one for himself. So he rolled a tank. I went into a random pug with him as tank, me as healer, knowing he was going to be terrible. His first character, dungeon, and as a tank no less.
He surprised me. Never lost aggro the whole dungeon, waited for me to drink without needing to be asked, pulled lots but didn't go mad.
Absolute pleasure, we now on play those characters through random pugs, and is a great way for us to stay in touch while i am at university.
So yeah, get yourself a tank friend for maximum fun!
Mar 8th 2010 7:12PM My favourite A-Team moment was when they shot up a car, which rolled downhill, and then blew up. You then hear the bad guys inside:
"Yeah, I'm ok."
Nobody ever dies!
