Jun 9th 2011 9:04PM Blizz finally seems to be thinking about the non-raiding max lvl player. Introducing new solo content and new raid content in the same patch seems to me to be a good move. Only time will tell if it gets me back into the game.
Why can't solo players have new gear to strive for? Everything seems to be about the new raiding tier gear (12 I think but to be honest I just don't care!).
Maybe I'll be interested in coming back by the time 4.2 drops, but its likely to only be for a month or two.
May 17th 2011 9:47PM This is probably the last nail in the WoW coffin for me.
May 15th 2011 1:13AM The addons column recently covered an addon called GTFO. Not exactly what you were asking for but might help you.
Apr 30th 2011 12:51AM Consider, if you will,
5.0 introduces the first super class, dragons (or dragonkin). No race. No faction. Spec as tank or healer, no DPS.
Starting area consists of dungeon runs with NPCs. You finish the starting area as level 68.
Being factionless you can queue with either faction for randoms. You are welcome in any city.
The biggest problem is that Blizz is too locked into their increasingly stale model to think that far outside the box.
Apr 17th 2011 3:13AM About the only thing that will get me back to WoW (my account has been "frozen" for a couple of months) is if they get rid of the cross realm BS. WoW is supposedly a community oriented game but cross realm randoms completely destroy that. On one side asshats can get away with poor behavior and on the other side if you group with someone you like you will never see them again. So I'm probably done with WoW until 5.0.
Apr 9th 2011 1:50AM I predict that this will only make queue times longer. The tanks who currently don't run random heroics may come back for a short time, but will then be reminded why they stopped in the first place. Tanks who currently do queue will be driven away by progressively worse attitudes. This is a bandage that will wear off then tear off the scab.
Jan 22nd 2011 1:09AM Does no one know that priests have Mind Control?
An MC pull is a thing of beauty. A priest can single handedly take out the first mob.
Jan 6th 2011 12:05AM I'd like to see two thing in the RDF:
I'd like to know why I was kicked. You have to put in a reason, so why not at least tell me?
I'd also like /ignore to work again. In WotLK I could ignore a player and not get grouped with him/her again. Now all I get is "player not found".
Dec 25th 2010 7:56PM I haven't seen much problem so far with groups breaking CC, tanks not wanting to do them or not marking, yea! I haven't been playing my mage, but MC with my spriest is fun.
What I have noticed a lot is tanks or leaders who don't know the marks. They'll start marking and I'm never sure what they want. I generally have to tell them that I can MC and suggest the diamond for it. It seems that few, if any, know about MC.
So don't be shy, say up front that you have CC and suggest the normal mark for it. I'm about half a hair away from making a macro and hot keying it.
Dec 24th 2010 2:11AM I'm loving MC. It takes me a few seconds to figure out exactly where I am and what I can do, but 17,000 dps is awesome.
