Jul 11th 2011 12:38PM Nope.
I wanted the Frigid Frostling. I ran Ahune every day this year on my main. And every day during last year's Fire Festival.
No Ice Chip. :|
I hate RNG.
Jun 21st 2011 3:53PM That's exactly what I thought! Glad I'm not the only one! XD Saw the original model and was like "wtf that looks like Betty Page!"
You gotta admit, Betty would make a pretty hot looking succubus. I'm actually kind of sad that the current model ended up looking night elfish. They should of improved on the original model in a way that it still looked like Betty. ^_^
Jun 15th 2011 12:45PM Dear Queue,
I have been struggling since Cata's release to level a Rogue. Granted, the time to it isn't dedicated, I have other obligations, but I can never seem to get into it when I do play. Am I missing something? I mean, people say rogues are fun, but I just find myself ticked off all the time on mine. I know there is a Rogue shortage in Cata, is there a good reason behind this? What's going on with this class that its not very appealing to play?
I've even read the Rogue columns on WoW Insider, I read the forums, I do my research. A lot of stuff goes over my head, I admit, but I try to understand the class mechanics to the best of my ability! As an aside, I wouldn't consider myself a "beginner" player. I've played since classic and have ambitions to one day have a level cap of every class. My three level cap toons right now are Druid (balance/bear), Shaman (resto/enhancement) and Hunter (BM). I also have a Warrior (fury) at 80 and a Mage (frost) at 82. I'm also working on leveling a Priest (holy) who is only 40 right now.
Basically my point being, the types of playstyles I engage in are varied. I have fun as dps; ranged or melee, I have fun healing, I even used to tank in LK. Why is a Rogue so hard for me to get interested in?!
Jun 8th 2011 1:43PM Playing Horde from the beginning and being a huge Tauren fan, I got used to Thunder Bluff quickly. Sure the rises confused me a few times, but not enough to make me feel actually "lost"... I did all my dealings in Thunder Bluff for the longest time and it took me awhile to get used to Orgrimmar, but eventually I figured that place out too. (Now that it is remodeled for Cata? All I can say is thank god for flying!)
However, since I played Horde pretty solidly for a good 5 years, when I FINALLY decided to roll an Alliance toon I cussed up a storm trying to find my way to ANYTHING in Stormwind. To this day that city still annoys the crap out of me, even though I've gotten better at navigating it. Its not that its nonsensical and messy, it is organized, its just ALL THE DAMN WALLS and the stupid canals in the way everywhere that drives me nuts! Its not a straight trip in any direction for any location no matter what! D:
May 20th 2011 7:38PM Woah wait... left-handed people use their mouse in their left hand? I'm a lefty and I have NEVER done that! o_o Mostly because I was raised on computers in computer labs and in a predominantly right-handed household, so I just got used to using a mouse with my right hand! I don't think I could even operate a mouse with my left hand at this point!
Kudos to Razer for thinking of doing this though, I am an advocate of left handed friendly things! I just know I'd never use a mouse. And I wonder how many lefties like me learned to deal with a mouse in their right hand?
May 3rd 2011 3:14PM I'd be a cute little gnome gal with short brown hair and freckles named Skwerl! She'd be dressed like a woodsman or hunter and live in a small home in a forest somewhere selling red and gray non-combat squirrel pets!! She'd be bubbly and hyper and friendly to both factions, as long as they promised to be nice to her squirrels.
Mar 31st 2011 12:33AM Still a small window of time and worth a shot, so here's my comment! I'd love to DISCO it up on my boomkin!
Mar 4th 2011 12:18PM For me its not a particular class mechanic; its from a lore standpoint... like the general mindset of the class.
I cannot play Warlocks or Death Knights. Even if they are fighting for their faction and doing good deeds... I cannot get over how evil they are. How their spells focus on pain and disease and destruction. I just hate it. Maybe its because I get too attached to my characters, but being "the bad guy" has never appealed to me, so I have a hard time playing classes like that. x_x;;
Along the same vein, I have a rough time playing Forsaken and Goblins, for similar reasons. I understand that there can be diamonds in the rough, reformed characters etc... but its hard to look at a Forsaken and not think about all the sick things they do and their twisted outlook and their somewhat psychotic leader.
I know it might sound dumb to some people, but there it is!
Feb 19th 2011 3:12PM Being on an RP server, I'm not very fond of naming schemes and something that irritates me endlessly is people with unrealistic character names. I hate seeing names that include their roll or class!
Its not too hard to just keep public notes updated in guild so that people can keep track! :)
