Mar 13th 2009 3:49PM As a fellow Death Knight Blogger I highly recommend Sekelton Jack's best in slot series for DPS oriented DK's.
While I have some slight differences in preference on trinkets, SJ does an excellent job researching and testing what he writes.
Mar 12th 2009 8:32AM I keep Dragonfin Filet for DPS and Snapper Extreme for tanking since my tank gear isn't hit capped.
Mar 10th 2009 1:52PM Asking regular readers of WoW Insider whether the current content is too easy is like asking the PGA if they find put put hard.
This is a highly biased sample.
We all know people who can't raid worth a damn, but can be carried. We all have asked ourselves WTF someone was doing in a pug.
Wow Jutsu has seen 3.7M toons in Wrath so far. Even if you assume
each player has 1 toon only, that means 1/4 th of WoW players have
actually stepped foot inside a raid in Wrath. I would wager that
3.7M toons is actually only about 2M players.
Raiding may be easy for us, and it definately seems much easier than
in BC IMO, but I still don't think it is cake for the three quarters
of players who haven't even seen the Vault yet.
DK Casual Raiding and Tanking

Stacking cooldowns for a boss enrage etc is timing your cooldowns :)
Mar 9th 2009 11:13AM Since we will no longer be able to chain cooldowns look for PVE tanks to start stacking them when bosses enrage at the end of their lives.
Feb 27th 2009 5:26PM What's really fun is it pops after every boss right now. At least it did yesterday.
Feb 26th 2009 11:16AM It's more appealing for players that want to be challenged by constantly fighting to maintain aggro over the DPS.
The first two builds clearly are driving more DK's into Unholy which is the opposite of what was intended. I suspect that will change sometime in the next 4-6 weeks before 3.1 goes live.
Feb 24th 2009 3:03PM Of course they are joking. But that's the fun of it.
They need a level cap on that because I'm pretty sure I don't want to see any level 80 "Bunnies"
Feb 23rd 2009 9:55AM While leveling I'd suggest tanking in a DPS spec and gear until about level 77 or 78. At that point look to take the 5/5/5 mitigation talents and start building a tank gear set apart from your dps set.
Once you are fully geared its possible to do 2000+ dps while tanking single targets.

Wipe count doesn't factor into the decision. If its clear that the boss can drop and people have the time and attention span you do another attempt.
If its clear the boss won't go down you call it, especially on farm content.
If its a progression boss and you know the boss won't go down, you keep the attempts going so everyone will learn the fight better. Even then after a couple wipes it will be time to throw in the towel.
