US surpasses European 3G subscribers by 0.1% -- first! {Engadget}

Sep 4th 2008 11:54AM Well the data and this engadget article are both misleading. We don't say "the USA" when talking about 5 states, why say "europe" when talking about 5 countries? Even Serbia, where the swimmer opposite Phelps in that picture (Cavic) is from has 3G available on Telekom Srbije. And in the Serbian half of Bosnia (Republika Srpska) they have 3G on TS also. I say the data or this article should be revised. When talking about 0.1% difference, the data should be a complete set, otherwise what the heck is 0.1%?

iPhone activation servers back online; stock updates from around the world {Engadget}

Jul 11th 2008 6:12PM Apple ought to compensate people for this debacle? What kind of a stupid thing to say is that? It's a well-advertised product, and the thousands of sheep who just had to have this product today overloaded the stores and the servers that support the activations. Every single major product release follows this trend. Why would you expect this to be any different? And you think Apple should PAY people for it? Get real..

Laser-etched tattoos: don't try this at home, kids {Engadget}

Jul 5th 2008 7:34PM I bet after a few minutes the "tattoo" becomes all blistered and nasty and then heals up with some light scar tissue in an indescernable shape. that pacman is gonna look like some dirty sunny side up egg

Montreal's Public Bike System uses RFID, solar power, and tons of social trust {Engadget}

Jun 22nd 2008 5:05PM @Artie
Montreal is in Canada.. not the USA. Montreal can get very very very very cold in the winter, and these bikes I'm sure will be removed in wintertime to prevent degradation and replaced in spring.

@Bluray
You think homeless guys have money and credit that they can use to rent bikes? Think.

Nokia fesses to looming N95-3 software update, fails to mention specifics {Engadget}

May 19th 2008 12:05AM I just want to point out that the N95-3 IS available on a North American carriers... Rogers Wireless in Canada has been selling the NA N95 since early May. Also AT&T should have it on the way soon. As a Rogers dealer, I've had a LOT of interest in the N95 however it's overpriced. $400 on a 3-year voice AND 3G (extra $7/month) contract.

My only beef with the N95 (I haven't owned one though) is the thin-ness of the slider.. it seems too breakable! And the keys don't feel so great either.

Caption contest: WiMAX hits store shelves in Bosnia {Engadget}

May 6th 2008 12:35AM Take a look at a mapl, and tell me if Bosnia is anywhere near Russia. I know who Yakov Smirnoff is, I am pointing out that a joke about Russia has nothing to do with Bosnia. Look at a map of south-east Europe if you need to verify this. I idi u picku materinu, hvala
