Jul 31st 2010 8:38AM I'd figure I'd add that all zones and places in Azeroth stir up real life or in game memories whether it be late nights avoiding ganking in Stranglethorn, jittery evenings dodging monsters in Duskwood, or fun weekends where I discovered a holiday has sprung up in Azeroth! My love for some zones is triggered by real life memories like my early childhood or recent ones like my survival training for the AF in Washington state; which always reminds me of the Grizzly Hills and makes me especially happy there!
Jul 31st 2010 8:31AM I love the Brewfest and Hallows End (come to think of it all) holidays at both the Orgrimarr and Ironforge locations. It always reminds me of my youth running around and playing in the autumn and it is a nostalgic feeling more than anything.
Jun 11th 2010 3:46PM Honestly, when I was younger, like many kids, I had that natural affinity with nature and all that fun stuff but it was of course lost as I grew. Playing WoW throughout high school brought me back to the outdoors as ironic as that is with it being a video game and all haha.
I loved the enviroments and adventure present in this online world and have since sought it in person. I take backpacking trips all the time for weeks at a time and am currently training to become a CCT for the Air Force, who specializes in Survival and Evasion techniques among other things.
WoW rekindled that deep abiding love in nature I lost with age into my teen years.
Mar 25th 2010 9:21PM Don't study WoW for this, look at Africa...
WoW and games like it that depict these sorts of reduced resources and small tribes combating over it are merely reflections of the trends that are currently occuring in our world.
Mar 24th 2010 8:50PM Confirmed to be on Moongaurd as well. Pretty cool to see haha.
Feb 14th 2010 11:22AM Im a senior in high school this year and while school is pretty much a walk for me, I have no money for college. I'm going to enlist in the Navy and do EOD so I can get payed to rock climb xD seeing as that is one of my passions. I hope I do well on all the physical tests and don't die trying to diffuse a bomb or somthing, yikes.
In-game. I wish for nothing. Its more fun to strive towards my virtual goals and beg my higher lvl friends to help me ahah.
Dec 31st 2009 7:47PM Blizzard, if they continue to help law enforcement in this way, would have to take a stance on certain issues unless a supeona is given by a judge. Personally it all matters what kinds of narcotics the man in question dealt. I have nothing wrong with Marijuana and think it is over criminalized. Again that is Blizzard's choice.
Dec 14th 2009 8:08PM Lemme sum this all up for you guys who dont bother reading government related articles:
"If you think your free, try walking into dinner and pissing on the counter."
Nov 2nd 2009 4:27PM To Neirin: I assumed as much but the ministry factor and all that sort of stereotyped in my mind. Anyway I generally feel like i understand american govt. well but I conceed I can not say the same for any other country.
