Raleigh is overrun with Horde from many different games, and universes. The worst of these Horde being from a small place called Chapel Hill where their blood supposedly runs a pale bluish color. Simply terrible.

SFK: Maybe expand the lore to have it be a refuge for our new-fangled wolfie friends? A phase-in sort of event for those of us that have already been there pre-Cata? That would be neat.
DM: I would love to see it be a timed run where the giant gates opened up, and VC's warship light on fire if the timer is beat. That would be pretty sweet.
I never got the achieve for BRD, and can only hope that when I have to go back there in Cata, they'll still award me the achieve.
