Mar 23rd 2011 4:59PM Not quite true: The Shattered Hall key and Shadow Labyrinth key also blew up in the Cataclysm. It seems like any keys that used to be required to enter a dungeon are gone. Only the reputation keys required for BC heroics that are still around (I imagine they'll be gone too whenever Blizzard gets around to updating outland.)
Mar 14th 2011 7:05PM I hope its not automatic. While it certainly is an extremely cool animation, I'd really hate people to know how often I'm forced to check my map...
Mar 1st 2011 6:21PM A slightly better macro:
/cast [@target,harm] [@targettarget,harm] flame shock (or frost shock, or whatever)
If you're targeting a player, it casts the spell at their target, like yours does, but if you're targeting an enemy, it'll cast it on them directly. Probably not something that comes up much, but having the option could use useful sometimes.
Mar 1st 2011 3:41PM I really don't like Telluric Currents. There are a few fights where its usable (Magmaw, as you pointed out), but for the most part, its pretty hard to fit it into a usable rotation. Its fairly distracting from your main job as healing, and because of the miss rate, it doesn't return nearly as much mana as you might hope (and nothing worse than getting a couple of misses in a row when you're low already.) It'll gain a lot more value with another tier or two of gear, but at the moment, I just don't think its worth it.
Focused Insight, on the other hand, is great. Make a macro that casts it on your target's target and you can keep your focus on the person you're healing. Follow that up with greater healing wave for a nice big heal.
Nov 3rd 2010 1:54AM I think focusing on in-game cinematics is a great idea. Think of the fall of the Lich King cinematic - your raid finally takes him down, the movie rolls and - boy, its suddenly very empty in here. It would have been significantly more awesome to see yourself and friends standing there watching these events instead of just disappearing.
Oct 15th 2010 3:57PM When you say run dungeons to raise rep, do you mean max-level dungeons/heroics? Or do these work while leveling as well, so we can gain rep at low levels? (Related question: do Wrath tabards work in level 85 dungeons?)
Sep 23rd 2010 4:37PM According to:
Stonekeeper shards are converting to honor. I wonder if this means the WG heirloom items, recipes, the mount, etc. will be available for purchase for honor...
Aug 3rd 2010 4:45PM Nah, go ahead and give players in enemy cities parachutes too. Then install turrents around the cities so we can shoot down enemy invasions...
Jan 18th 2010 3:20PM Trifling gnome, your arrogance will be your undoing!
Dec 28th 2009 5:07AM I've always wished that druids could dual-wield fist weapons. Why on earth are staves the standard feral weapon? We should be using fist weapons that represent our claws.
