Dec 25th 2010 1:06PM Arthas is great, though a little broken up because they don't rehash what happened in the games.
I would also recommend Lord of the Clans (the origin of Thrall) and The Last Guardian (the story of Medivh and Karazhan).
Some people like Richard Knaak's Warcraft books, and they do have a lot of lore in them, but I find that Christie Golden's novels are much more interesting.
Nov 2nd 2010 5:36PM Though it may be 4.0.1 we are still in Wrath and DPS are still going crazy with AOE and barely giving the tanks a second to touch the mobs before they start in.
This diseaseless tank style naturally occured for me when running randoms after 4.0.1 hit because if you take the time and runes to put up both diseases and then try to spread them, you've already lost aggro to the over-zealous boomkin, blizzard happy mage, and the chargeinbeforednddrops warrior.
This of course is truly the fault of the dps, but in random dungeons the only thing people seem to care about is how fast they get done.
So for now I only put up diseases on single target fights and that's just fine with me.
Oct 15th 2010 7:36PM Yeah I just saw the hotfix updates.
I can't stand going without my warrior so I'm gonna try it, and find a friendly alchemist to help me replace all those gems.
I know Fury doesn't mean to hurt me, it loves me, I can't just leave it behind...
Oct 15th 2010 11:29AM Since my 25 Arp gems have been replaced with crit gems, I've decided to just hang up my Warrior DPS hat till after Cata launches.
I have other toons to dps, and paying that much gold to replace crit gems is just not worth it. Plus all the reports of poor Warrior DPS make it seem like I'm not missing much.
Oct 10th 2010 12:40PM For some people it does, for others it's just getting the best racial bonus.
I love dwarves and trolls, because they are the least palyed classes. But I'm the person who doesn't like things that other people like, specifically because their popular.
Oct 10th 2010 12:20PM For what it's worth my main is a Warrior, and every video game I play with class choices I always play the warrior/fighter. I think character choices probably do have some correlation to the players themselves, but not in a goth/jock/christian stereotype kind of way.
I definitely seem to see certain types of people drawn to tanking, and other types which seem to predominantly like healers.
As for the religious stereotype, I am very much agnostic. As a side effect I feel no draw to playing a priest or paladin (Paladin is the only tank I don't have at 80). However, I'm sure that's just me and doesn't ring true for others.
Mar 20th 2010 10:24AM LOL, Tanaris even looks like Tatooine!
Nov 3rd 2009 3:22PM I absolutely love Altoholic. I've been using it for many months and it's great.
I love that it will tell you how many of an item all your characters have, and even guild banks.
The one problem I've noticed is that it frequently doesn't pick up all of a characters profession recipes. It will have just a partial list of somewhat random recipes, but it is not complete.
Apr 18th 2009 11:47AM Dood!
I love Muse, and i think they are pretty big here in the US too.
I gotta go look up this achievement.
(At the very least people will probably recognize that song from Twilight)
