Forum post of the day: Vicarious' legend {WoW}

you must be the guild leader.

Forum post of the day: Vicarious' legend {WoW}

Aug 7th 2008 7:30AM It's hilarious when the loot deciders defend their decisions to the end. When 90% of people are saying it's wrong, they're still saying it's right. Dude...when it's 90%...no, you're pretty much wrong. Stubbornness and arrogance makes me laugh and makes me want to smack people.

Is Blizzard stealing ideas from WAR? {WoW}

Jun 18th 2008 10:52AM Seriously...does it matter who steals ideas from who? This happens with everything, everywhere, in ever industry, in every public speech I've ever heard, to every discipline I've ever had by my parents as a child. This should be know surprise to anyone and it fact, this article sorta bores me because it presents nothing viable and, instead, propagandizes the idea of WoW being a big baddy incapable of doing it's on work in the realm of ideas...I find that pretty amusing

Breakfast Topic: Where would your characters "retire" to? {WoW}

Mar 12th 2008 1:23PM This is certainly a question I have pondered and cannot pass up.

My human pally would retire to the cathedral inside of Stormwind City, and perhaps a home around Northshire, and another home in Nagrand (for my old English Colonialist side that dreams of old Africa)

My night elf druid would call Darkshore home...not TOO far from Darnassus, but moreso, is by the shore.

Getting what you paid for: Should the endgame be accessible to casuals? {WoW}

Feb 15th 2008 1:42PM I don't pay money to play chess with the exception of the price of the chess board, which is even, possibly, something I wouldn't have to do if a friend has it.

Getting what you paid for: Should the endgame be accessible to casuals? {WoW}

Feb 15th 2008 1:38PM I recall paying for a game who's total content I will never see, at least it feels that way. I consider myself a casual player, but am thoroughly upset with not being able to really get to see the finishing storylines of some of the characters I saw in W3, or even W2 and such.

I am, debatably-depending on who you ask, an adult and don't have the excessive amount of time it takes to be a hardcore raider without losing important aspects of my life (like the gym, the gf, etc...) I know there's always a lot of humor in the topic of the spouse getting pissed because you game all the time, or getting the spouse involved, but in all honesty...the game sucks a lot out of people.

I do, however, feel, that the game itself is something I find very interesting and REALLY want to see end-game content. Now if this were a single-player game, I'd be able to do all that with a hit of the save button and come back later, but since it's not, I find myself struggling with being annoyed that I can't see the rest. In reality, Blizzard is getting more for their dollar with the casual player, in terms of $$/Hrs Played. So, from that perspective, I suppose I should be upset that I'm not getting to see nearly as much as someone who spends more time playing.

A closer look at the WoW miniatures {WoW}

Feb 8th 2008 8:19PM So, they aren't going to allow them to have helmets? That's what I've seen thus far...that would be sad, especially if you put a pally in Judgement armor...that would just be a crime.

Latest changes on the PTR {WoW}

Apr 26th 2007 2:04PM Amen to your last statement Ms. Harper...rock on!

Should you lose experience when you die?, revisited {WoW}

Apr 9th 2007 10:24AM If they change to the mechanics to make it easy to lose experience every time you die...I'm done. This is just another way to make it more difficult of regular gamers, but even MORE difficult for casual gamers to get to any end-game stuff.

"Classic" servers for a simpler time {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2007 12:43PM That's a freakin' GREAT idea...
