Jul 30th 2011 10:32AM A few I cant stand:
___ is ___ as in "bad dungeon is bad," or "good pally is good"
"Im looking at you ____". As in, "I hate certain game mechanics, I'm looking at you fire." Im sure this was clever at one point but it really dumb sounding now.

At this years blizzcon, blizz basically gave a giant middle finger to anyone that plays an alliance character.
This is not a new topic, but one that still deserves attention. Everyone knows that ally racials are less powerful than hordes for PVE. Any theorycrafting site that accounts for racial abilities proves that without a shadow of a doubt.
The most legendary weapon in the game is an ax. Guess who gets bonuses with axes, Orcs. What a shock.
Goblen vs. Worgen racials are yet another example. Hmmm, a free skinning knife, or bank access anywhere. A haste buff, or a crit buff? Haste is far more beneficial.
Prior to the dungeon finder, the horde had more dungeons closer to their main cities...etc, etc. These are the true but old arguments.
I think the comments made at blizzcon go too far though. I mean sure, hate ally all you want internally. Gimp them, make subtle jibes, whatever. But, this?:
"We just need a better battlecry for the alliance, its definitely something we are keeping an eye on, it's just the psychology of the coolness of the horde that makes them more popular, making the allies be proud of them being allies is a thing to solve in the long run."
Hmm, I wonder where the all the ally hatred comes from? If the developers pretty much say, "Your faction is a joke," then of course the mindless masses will follow suit. Make our racials OP. Genuflect on your knees every time our faction leader is mentioned, and maybe the attitude will change. I know metzen voices thrall, but hey guys, he's not really thrall. You can stop openly stroking him.
The real joke is that the horde are supposed to represent the underdogs of the world. The story of underdogs coming out on top due to skill or being more clever is powerful. An underdog that is handed special privileges isn't an underdog anymore. He's like a spoiled rich kid with all the nice toys.
For any that doubt what I'm saying, enjoy the following quotes from blizz:
"The horde curently has two very good battlecry's, can you give some characters somewhere to shout back (alliance)?
"Have mercy!". We've experimented with a amount of battlecry's for the alliance, but none of them match up with "For the Horde!". We'll keep trying to find one. "We'll keep trying" is not the battle cry though. (laughs)"
"Thrall is the most important person on Azeroth, the Garrosh storyline has a lot to do with Thrall. Thrall is a Clark Kent type character who doesn't really know his true strength"
Oct 22nd 2010 7:44PM The dungeon changes mentioned don't seem to make them easy enough. I vote for one room, one boss, no movement at all. I get to kill said boss with one finger while watching something on tv and get loot. Actually, I don't want to push the one button, or even hearth to the dungeon, just give me the loot in the mail already.
Oct 14th 2010 2:44PM Will the RAF bonuses be available for goblins and worgen?
Oct 12th 2010 7:48PM Nows your chance to check our LoTR's online for free. The first 20's levels are a blast, although you will need to throw down some cash after then to max your fun.
Oct 15th 2009 10:14AM The people saying that there already is multi-classing with druids (due to diff. specs) or by putting points in multiple trees are totally missing the point. Multi-classing in D&D means you can pick the skills from totally different classes. You can take skills for a paladin for 2 levels, a wizard for 4 levels, and a rogue for "x" amount of levels to make any kind of hybrid class you want. Its pretty awesome actually and would never work in wow. Maybe they will change the rules for wow2. You can pretty much have infinite class variations with that type of set-up which would make an already great game better.
Oct 3rd 2009 8:19PM Windrunner has over 32k people with alliance topping out at over 20k the last I checked. Although the best way to chose a server is to use the http://www.wowprogress.com/ website. Find the server with the most top guilds and your likely to find a server with high activity and a lot of good players.
Aug 26th 2009 10:10AM I don't think this timeline is correct, because your not factoring in the Onyxia expansion that is slated to release in November. I doubt they will be releasing another patch a month after onyxia. I think that icecrown will hit sometime next year, probably February or March, but that cataclysm will come out much sooner than people expect after the icecrown patch, since it is really only half an expansion.
Aug 22nd 2009 4:19AM So with this mastery system taking the place of certain stats, does it mean I'll have to go back and start from scratch just to get the stats I already have? To get to where I currently am at lvl 80, will I have to work through 80 lvls of "mastery" points to retain my current dps? If so, that is going to suck.
Aug 20th 2009 8:22AM Some good ideas, although I really don't understand the popularity of the player housing idea. Many of the cities are dead enough as it is, imagine if player housing existed. You really wouldn't see anyone else but your guild mates or people you happen to pugg with. I think seeing people running around in cities makes the game more immersive. Also, what would be point the point in general?
"HAI you want to com ova to mah haussss?" And then what, everyone just standing around in some "private" space. You can chat privately anywhere, why the need for housing? It's not like other people can hear you when your on vent or talking in party chat.
