Jul 9th 2009 7:32PM Well without of damage nerf, shield slam would probably make warriors really tough in arenas. The only classes that can do substantial damage to prot warriors are casters and even then a warriors hp is so high (+ they have spell reflect and a interrupt) that they would be nearly impossible to take down in a healer + prot warrior comp. Just think, a prot pally healer + a prot warrior comp would be nearly impossible to beat (or at least take a very long time). So yeah, while warriors would'nt be the kings of dps with the change, they would be too much dmg for the amount of survivability and interrupts they have. Correct me if there is anything i am missing or overlooked.
Jul 9th 2009 5:01PM I dont get why everyone thinks ret is so op. As of 3.1 ret had the lowest dps in ulduar and did pretty fail in arena. Ret really only excels in world pvp because of bubble and lay on hands (which isnt usable in arenas), giving them two fight resets. Plus they are the easiest melee class to kill for any skilled pvper. I guess people think they are op because they don't play a ret themselves. Then they would understand all it takes is two snare abilities to completely kite them.
However, i would agree that warriors have no chance in hell against a ret (except for prot) and rogues actually have to be good to beat them.
Jul 9th 2009 12:13PM i know a lot of people are talking about what will be the next new race. However, it seems like it would make more sense to add a third faction with a lot of the neutral factions. It could be Ethereals, Goblins, Padaren, Tuskar? (ok i dont know about the last two) However, i guess we all know this won't happen either because of capital cities, starting areas, and the population difference. But i do think it makes more sense lore-wise than tacking a seemingly neutral race onto horde or alliance. They could simply be aligning because they don't think the horde an alliance are doing a good enough job getting rid of the baddies.

Jun 18th 2009 5:14PM You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. DK's never got nerfed to the ground, they are the premiere tanks in Ulduar with druids close behind them. Thats the whole reason why block value is getting raised right now. So you should'nt have lved your paladin in the first place; they look better stat wise but pale in comparison because of their inferior defensive abilities. Paladins and warriors only pass up the other tanks on trash because they migrate a higher % of the dmg.
