WoW.com reacts to Cataclysm raid changes, page 2 {WoW}

Apr 28th 2010 11:31PM Looking back on all the guild organization that I and my officers have done, I can honestly say we have spent more time on issues that have arisen from 10man raids. Our guild is (was suppose) to be a 25man causal guild that raids twice a week for a few hours. We were all the way through BC, but when WotLK started, 2 nights quickly became 5 to 6 nights a week, solely due to 10man content. I can honestly say I am looking forward to just having to organize and run two 25man raids a week and not have to deal with all the frustration 10man raids have caused my guild. So, yes I love these changes, I don’t even care if more loot drops in 25mans to be honest.

I look at this change and think about all of the extra time I can devote to my guild and my members. More time to recruit if needed, organise fun events, and grind for some prizes for those events; hell I might even start doing BG weekends again! Our guild has already decided to stay a 25man causal guild, and we are all looking forward to it.
This change also gives us some extra flexibility in keeping the guild raiding if we happen to be missing a few people one week by breaking into 10mans and not missing a beat.

I understand other people’s fears and worries, and I don’t know what the future will be, but I think this will be good for at least my guild and the people in it.

Blood Pact: Warlock glyphs to use, ignore or to dream for {WoW}

Oct 12th 2009 12:23PM As a WoW player who has never played a Warlock or a Mage, Hobbs is the first Blood Pack writer to peek my interest to try one out. Mr. Belt almost had me, but I feel the dark side is calling. Out of curiosity, what you all feel would be a "fun" race as a Lock. I think I'm leaning towards an ugly female Orc or a slimy little Gnome.

The Queue: Spreading the space plague {WoW}

Jan 11th 2009 12:39PM I would certainly keep that Warlock as a bank toon and you never know when your going to come back to him. I have just dusted off my first toon I ever created, level 52 priest, 4 years ago and haven't touched in about that long also. If you have the character space, save yourself a possible regret later on.

Any toon over the level of 10 is great for a bank alt also. As Blizzard will not restore any toon under level 10. It happened to a guild mate of mine and they lost tens of thousands of gold in materials and items on thier level 1 bank toon.
