Mar 17th 2010 9:14PM Noz is off fighting his future-self which has gone mad, created the infinites, and is trying to prevent his own death. And here's how it ends: Present Noz kills Future Noz, thus he realizes his own death at his own hands. He's stuck in a loop, after he kills his future self, he has to go on living, knowing he's going to go mad and create the infinites and his then past self will come to kill him. It would fit with Blizzard's tragic downfall scenarios.
Jul 26th 2009 9:42AM I'd like to see more done with Fandral Staghelm. Maybe he could try to make a power grab by bringing Tyrande up on charges based on her release of Illidan and the slaughter of his keepers. Maive could come back and ally with him and he could put her in Tyrande's place as High Priestess, as this is was the position she felt she was cheated out of anyway. Then we get Malfurion out of the Emerald Dream and he can come and rally the Cenarion Expedition against the Cenarion Circle which has been corrupted by Fandral. Seriously, the Night Elves really need some shaking up and this whole Fandral thing has been building for a while now. A Night Elf civil war would be really cool, and could be involved with the whole problem with the Emerald Dream and reintroduce some really interesting characters.
Oh yeah, and even though I play Alliance I'd really love to see Garona back in action.
Jul 13th 2009 9:23PM I thought I read somewhere that, historically speaking, only the top third of a broadsword or hand-and-a-half sword was actually sharp and meant for cutting and stabbing. The other two-thirds were for blocking and crushing bone. Interestingly, most two-handers were wielded with only one hand on the actual grip. The other hand was placed just above the cross guard on the dull part of the blade. This allowed them to have better control of the weapon.
Jul 10th 2009 1:08AM Is Blizzard going to ever do anything with all those Strand of the Ancients Marks of Honor? I mean, we have a new battleground coming, are they just going to let those marks sit around as well? Will we see battleground specific rewards? Other than hand-me-down armor from the arena?
Jan 12th 2009 11:14AM Actually, as a person who studies eastern european folklore, I'd recommend reading some of the ancient Hungarian folklore. A lot of their creation myth and their shamanism seems to parallel the myths and beliefs of the night elves and the night elven druids a bit too. There is a passable reference for Malorne and they even had a World Tree. Again, as an earlier poster said, wikipedia is a good start, though there are more in-depth sources out there.
