Shifting Perspectives: Fixing balance druid mana issues, page 2 {WoW}

Oct 9th 2010 11:10PM I'm fairly certain you're one of those new troll druids, but I'll bite anyway. I'm not sure you played in vanilla either. Innervate was a resto talent, infact it was the 31 point talent. As Tyler said, Resto druids only got raidspots to innervate the priest.

Oh, and for shifting into bear and tbagging bosses for killshots.

Troll on!

Breakfast Topic: Real ID or Real bad IDea? {WoW}

Jul 7th 2010 8:19AM Including yourself. Now, if this post had come up under your real name, we could all be going Jay and Silent Bob on your arse right now...

The Queue: The dating game {WoW}

Mar 18th 2010 8:27PM I nominate Henry Hodgekiss for the next 'Ask A Faction Leader'. He has a more compelling story than most of the others. Just chillin', storing up the energy of all the Alliance jumping onto him like a vanilla Paladin stacking up Reckoning...

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Random Dungeon Finder changes {WoW}

Feb 20th 2010 8:29PM I swear the chest at the end is rigged. It checks if anyone in the group uses offhands and needs the upgrade and then refuses to drop it. I've seen the off-hand 5 times, and each time I was on my warrior...

I'm still using the blue penis that drops in Naxx-10 off Razuvious. This is the only item in the game that makes me glad that shifting into tree-form hides my gear!

The Queue: Deconstructed {WoW}

Sep 1st 2009 10:43PM WoW has been in development since somewhere like 2001, where things like 64bit memory address spaces were but a twinkle in the eye for anyone not regularly using a high-end expensive piece of hardware (or a poor soul with an Itanium).

Odds are porting the codebase to be 64bit aware wont happen anytime soon. Making it Large Address Space aware might be a possibility, but how many people see a SINGLE copy of WoW using 3gig+ of ram? Multiple copies runnning at once on the same machine isn't an issue, they'll all use however much ram they want.

Hell, look at how much trouble they're having / had getting Hunter's to not use ammo, or Rogues' to Vanish properly, or adjusting the Druid Catform's hitbox.

As for DX10, why? Most game engines that were built for D8/9 and then 'optimised' for DX10 ran slower as a result... Graphical enhancements? There's a lot they can do to WoW on a DX9-engine to make it look nicer (boosting model polygon counts, texture sizes, etc), which would be a better use of development time than jury-rigging the current renderer for DX10.

TLDR; No. Not going to happen. *troll troll*

The Light and How to Swing It: Levels 71-80 con't. {WoW}

Aug 17th 2009 12:51AM I'd recommend sending young Prot paladins back to the trainer at level 71. Why? + + The ability to be able to use a non-mana regenerating seal is a good thing! Ret and Holy can go too, if they'd like, but its my Protty friends who'll benefit the most! Atleast we can have full mana while vendoring the Anguish chain rewards...

How the "Summon Memory" fight in the Trial of the Champion should have been done {WoW}

Aug 11th 2009 9:48PM As Lesley is sight-impaired she may have difficulty seeing if the ability is on cooldown and as a result relies on the audio feedback and spamming the skill to ensure it does what it has to do when it's allowed to.

The Queue: Sometimes you just want to be a superhero {WoW}

May 26th 2009 9:55PM That'd be the 3rd tier Restoration talent
