Is comparing your game to World of Warcraft really such a good idea? {WoW}

Jan 14th 2011 5:43PM It sure made me give it a shot.

We could use some vanilla WoW :)
Sadly, when any MMO is launched it is full with WoW spoilled players... till they go back to their "queue" and "aoe" game.

Choose my Adventure: Level moar n00b {Massively}

May 26th 2010 9:59PM Why are you grinding at that low level? I only had to around at lvl 48 >.>

Go quest and run BC! it's your first time and you'll have a great time boss hunting and doing group quests.
Morheim awaits you! Have fun rifting.

Choose my Adventure: Flying through Aion {Massively}

May 13th 2010 12:26PM I LOVE Aion, specially after when bots were handled. Yes there are still some around, but it's not as frequent. Resubbed 2 months ago and only saw 3 (and all in theo, but kept reporting and one got banned).

My suggestion is that you don't spend time on crafting, it's really expensive, but it can make you some kick ass gear.

Playing on Lumiel I don't have problems finding people to pvp with, but usually that requires me to rift through OR create pvp situations.
Wanna lure those lovely people to the abyss? Grief lowbies long enough and you shall :)

Anti-Aliased: What it's like to sit in the staff chair pt. 2 {Massively}

Jan 7th 2010 10:55PM It's clear to me that Massively staff didn't like Aion, mostly because no matter what updates and improved they throw, it is never published here.
So yes, they are right on that matter.
However that doesn't give them the right to call you out.
It may be considered a "brown" press, but this is site is known for this sort of aberrations...
remember when you guys posted during BC that pallies couldnt tank?
lol.

Aion introduces XP bonus weekends to smooth the curve {Massively}

Dec 16th 2009 5:58AM I played a toon during beta and before the first major exp boost. And it was true about running out of quests and grinding starting (I stopped at 39).
However, after last patch the exp boost was so nice that I'm 33 and still have a shit load of stuff to do. Unlike on my first character, where at 33 I got bored and pretty much questless.
I'd strongly suggest people to try again, because it has been improved.
What they do need though is to add more rifts or at least more quests to do at Abyss, to force people to stay there so more pvp can happen.
That's my major complaint about Aion. Lack of pvp. Really.

See an Aion GM in action blowing up spammers {Massively}

Dec 6th 2009 12:13PM Aion.... looks like WoW? o.O
Vanilla wow, yeah.
WotlK with loot piƱata? No.

Aion's community address for November {Massively}

Nov 27th 2009 5:52AM I came back to Aion due to massive ban on bots.
And it is really noticiable, there are WAY less of those vermins now.
In fact, I I believe that if they are doing it, they at least hide, aside kinah stores.

MMOrigins: The play's the thing, too {Massively}

Nov 13th 2009 9:31PM Nice to read about your background.
I wish I could join your RP parties back in the day!

Aion reports nearly 1 million copies sold in North America and Europe {Massively}

Nov 9th 2009 9:33PM It is such a great game. I really love it, it does need more content, but it has a lot of instances (really cool ones) and quests with "cutscenes). I felt playing an old style RPG on many campaigns.

However, its terrible customer support and bots everywhere is awfull.
You see people in major town with Kinah (gold) selling adds everywhere, for days. Same bots at same areas. But I'm not talking about 1, I'm talking about dozens of them.

THAT, not lack of content, may ruin this game.

Big improvements in Aion 1.5.1 patch {Massively}

Oct 8th 2009 8:05AM I'm 24 now and never grinded. And I'm still overwhelmed with quests.

Of course, I didn't skip any quests, including the Krall ones that had horrible drops.

:)

So far loving Aion. On the changes, I approve it.
I love doing quests, reading it all and getting imersed.
