Sep 18th 2009 8:21AM WoW started as awsome. IMO.
I played it since patch 1.9 and I saw how this game was. I really miss the challenge of this days, when places like SM cath required strategy to pull and CC.
The game became way too easy. I know there are hardmodes, and that keep up some strategy, but the REST of the game is too simple now, sadly.
Heroics are so mindless you can just aoe everything and still get purples.
Dude, who saw WoW how it was... is just frustrated.
Some changes were nice, like allowing hybrids to do something different from healing, or the required amount of time invested to raid.
But I miss the challenge from everything else. From heroics to instances. People reach lvl 80 without understading what LoS pull means or how to coordinate. I believe it should be required to run heroics to be able to get some BLUES so you can properly raid naxx... just not show up there and AoE all trash all the way to the boss.
Aion is standing out as an alternative to Vanilla WoW players.
However, if it will make or break will be connected to its end game content (we all get there eventually) and your process to get there (if there will be enough content, and in that matter WoW has plenty).
Jul 18th 2009 9:15PM Such a big speculation for... a mask.
Anyways, lets play with it.
On the posted note... "what are all those werewolves" doing there?
There is a whole questline in Silverpine that leads to ShadowFang Keep that answers that.
to the question, i'd play worgen!
I think it will be "easier" if they create those races and allow you to pick sides, and the starting zone to be phased out like the DK one.
Jul 11th 2009 3:28PM I really hate this sort of instances. I want to play my character not some vehicule.
Jul 11th 2009 3:27PM Not excited at all.
So far, we were seeing re used art on gear, now we get to see them in Bosses too! woot!
As the poster refered... this is a nice way to start your lvl 80 alt. lol, if we are all playing alts is because something is wrong.
Also, I don't like the idea of items being handed over, specially so early at this expansion.
Anyways, I'm more excited about FFXIV. WotlK was a huge end game disappointment
May 22nd 2009 6:26PM If epic gems comes and Dragon's Eye doesn't get buffed (and I believe they won't), I will simply drop JC and go enchanting. hands down.
The fact that I can use those 32 SP gem counting as any collor is very good. Now, with this nerf and the soon to come epic gem its benefits doesn't outscale enchanting. With the extra of d/eing my old gear.
May 2nd 2009 2:31PM It is a pity, honstly. Hard mode concept is cool, I believe that even some nerfs were deserved to Ignis... but all this?
Blizzard will suffer a great loss to their hardcore playerbase when another MMO with a comparable quality be launched.
So far, guess we are stuck with it.
May 2nd 2009 1:55PM Did all achievements easily, even winning matches. Except WSG, that really was a pain in the ass. If the objective was to capture a flag, I'm sure it would make that wsg more playble. We would get rid of the honor farm people and have everyone very aggressive towards goals.
However, all goals should be earned by people in vicinity.
Apr 3rd 2009 7:05AM The only explanation for a bunch of random NPCs spawning non stop saying F U is that blizzard got hacked.
Mar 7th 2009 6:03PM I can't see any those changes making fire mages even considerable for pvp.
On the pve side, Fire mages are defunct. Yes, they can outdps FFB (and pve arcane by around 30 dps), but the only great thing about it is that they bring scorch. Period.
Fire requires way more hit gear to work, not only that, it's mana efficiency is terrible, with no 2 min evocation to back them up.
Great AOE? Yes. But it doesn't make it "above" other speccs on that matter (FFB has iBlizzard, Arcane PoM+Flamestrike and AP+IV+Blizz.
I believe that fire mages need a buff to make them more atractive again... at least some help in +hit talents (and who knows a better looking fireball?)
Feb 25th 2009 10:19AM Silvermoon, no matter what reward it offers.
Like the poster said, that IS my major city.
