Apr 21st 2011 9:07PM As an FYI the "I'd Rather Be Leveling" podcast has returned from its brief health/work/taxes imposed hiatus. http://myguildhome.com/irbl/
Feb 28th 2011 8:49PM Another newish podcast is "I'd Rather Be Leveling" - a hybrid Warcraft/Minecraft podcast including short fiction and discussion about both games: http://myguildhome.com/irbl/
Both cohosts (My wife and myself) have appeared on Group Quest in the past.
Apr 29th 2010 7:03PM FYI? The Mythbusters tweeted this. http://twitter.com/MythBusters/status/13085756355
Feb 4th 2010 12:41PM I see your point, though this assumes the people in Ensidia would look at the bombs repairing things and tell themselves "Explosions heal the floor! This looks like something that is working as intended and could in no way be a glitch that would get us in trouble!"
Is that the case? Without having been there it's hard to say, but I'm inclined to think "Explosions repair things" would be obvious as far as bugs go.
Feb 4th 2010 11:10AM @Muqq: Cool story, bro.
If a runner in a race takes a shortcut to the finish line, is it the fault of the track designers not putting up high enough fences to keep everyone ON the track? Do those disqualified athletes then get to QQ and demand the stadium officials have 1 week to make the fences stronger?
Dec 6th 2009 11:46PM Too bad that YouTube vid is stolen - thief even disabled comments so people couldn't point viewers to the original, which is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/lagspikefilms
Feb 18th 2009 11:25AM I don't see the point in paying good money just so my computer can play the game for me.
But if I coud get a bot to file the paperwork needed in the course of doing my IRL job .... that would be sweet.
Feb 11th 2009 4:08PM As a healadin I've been in more than one party/raid where I went through the same stuff - DPS calling too much attention to themselves then calling out for help, which kept me from healing the tank like I was supposed to do.
I also recall a few raids where the main healer at the time refused to heal a boomkin at all for doing just that. I healed him anyway, though. Why? Because (at the time) we'd not yet cleared all of Kara, weren't over-geared, and needed every point of damage we could get.
Should the boomkin have toned it down? Yes.
Would I have let the boomkin die if I knew we could 9-man the mobs we were fighting? Probably.
But he didn't and we (at the time) couldn't, so I unilaterally made the decision to not let the party wipe to prove a point to the DPS.
Jan 15th 2009 2:32PM I'd be in favor of "mature" servers only because (in theory) they'd make the rest of the servers more pleasant. The most offensive people would have some place to go and spout their nonsense.
But then they'd get bored because they weren't offending anyone, so they'd come back anyway. Oh well.
