Apr 2nd 2012 5:31PM I levelled a Priest from 1 to 85 as Holy and only changed to Disc at expansion endgame as the style suited me more (as well as being improved dramatically in Wrath). Will be levelling to 90 as Holy though.
Apr 2nd 2012 5:29PM I've had a dwarf priest who I created when I first started WoW back in 2005 and no matter what he'll be my main. Since I've levelled farming and Horde alts, been main tank with a warrior for 6 months and even did a faction and server change along with my guild and now as I'm levelling an army of alts, my main will still always be the Dwarf Healer. Just something comforting about him now and to be honest I'm really not looking foward to a modal update for old races as I'm worried that he'll be changed too much for me to enjoy.
In answer to the article question, I'll be levelling a Pandaran Hunter and a Dwarf Monk, but they will, at best, be "Toons I Raid With" rather then a new main.
Mar 28th 2012 8:48AM While I'm looking foward to seeing new factions in game and the stories behind them, I'm really not looking foward to the rep grind. First time roundthey arn't too bad and you have Tabards to help, but for factions that are daily/quest dependent it can become a real chore especially when you're on your 2nd or 3rd alt doing it. Hopefully Blizz will learn the Therezane & Head enchant lesson and make all Exalted rep items BoA.
Mar 21st 2012 8:55AM When I get into the Beta there'll be 2 things I'll mostly be focusing on. Firstly, I'll be levelling a Warrior and a Priest. I've been playing both for a while (Priest since Vanilla, Warrior since Cata) and I'm interested in how the levelling experience has changed and see how the new talents and abilities work at lower levels. This is partly due to thinking that everyone will be bug testing at high levels so would be interesting to focus on lower level play, but mainly because I don't want to ruin levelling my main at release. Secondly, copying my main and launching into pet battles. Its a feature I'm interested in and so want it to be as smooth an experience as possible so lets test the hell out of it.
Mar 12th 2012 10:35AM All I ask is that, unlike the Female Dwarves, they give her a bit more support. Never had to deal with the issue myself, but when she runs it looks like it'd get really painful after a while.
Feb 8th 2012 9:12AM 2 I've left ammicably because I wanted to raid & 2 I rage quit due to stress.
My last one I left because I got booted off the raid team with little warning. I was main tank after being a healer in Firelands and T11 and about a month ago I got pulled aside by the raid leader saying they wern't happy with my aggro, my DPS and my communication. I worked to improve all three things, but then got told by the raid leader my communication still wasn't good enough and I was pulling trash too slowly so they were kicking me and bringing in a friend of an officer to replace me. I left the guild even though they were happy for me to stay as a healer or DPS, but decided against it.
Jan 13th 2012 4:32PM Kill the B O Y S has a point. Personally, I think we need more fights like Nefarian phase 2 and Beth'tilac where 1 tank has basically a tank and spank and the other has various jobs to do. This means beginner tanks can be assigned the easy job to give them an introduction, and there's more work for the experienced tank.
Dec 12th 2011 5:27PM Harrison can be pushed into the lava of Blackrock Mountain, but I Brann is awesome and just the sort of character you need for places like Uldum
Dec 12th 2011 5:25PM Uldum was the biggest disappointment for me and not just because of the Harrison Jones quests and the cutscenes (though they didn't help), but due to my own expectations. I remember back in Vanilla doing the quest line in Uldaman and getting sent to the massive doors to Uldum and then it ended. The questline and the temptation those doors held made me want to go there and care about it even more then Hyjal. All through TBC and WOTLK I waited and as soon as 4.0 hit, I ran down to see what was through those doors. To my disappointment, there was nothing and they shifted the entrance to include a caravan quest about people I didn't care about and my entire time in there on my 1st run thorugh was tainted by that.
2nd time through, I just did the Tol'vir quests and had a blast, but I'm still upset by nothing being behind those doors that had taunted me for 5 years.
Nov 23rd 2011 8:24AM Back in TBC, the mages and priests in my guild used to play a game of chicken with the aim to be the first one to hit the ground without dying. We would go outside of Magtheridons raid entrance (as it had the largest gap between the flight ceiling and the ground) and all then fly straight up to the flight ceiling. We'd then cancel the mount at the same time and the aim was to make sure you hit Levitate/Slowfall at the last possible second. Too soon and someone would fall past you. Too late and you were a pancake.
Sadly had no-one to play with in Wrath, but if you want to play the best place now is the large pit east of the Temple of Storms in the Stormpeaks.
