Patch 3.3 PTR: Why are Northshire wolves getting sick {WoW}

Oct 26th 2009 3:31PM That was my thought exactly. This is most likely going to be a part of the in-game reason humans become hunters. Instead of allowing the priests/paladins of the holy light take care of it a certain number of humans with extreme care for the environment may come forward and try to take care of these animals giving them that "uncanny knack to befriending animals" as it says in the hunter description on the character creation screen. This is definitely for 4.0. I've personally noticed a few in-game things that i would call weird. More rares have been popping up and they just so happen to be red drakes (the one in Alterac Valley popped up the other day... i didn't even know he existed). 4.0 is incoming and whatever the reason for this change i expect it to be interesting.

Garrosh, a raid boss? {WoW}

Oct 9th 2009 12:14PM Now if Garrosh was truly a "terrible character" would he really invoke this much hatred/feeling in his audience? Garrosh isn't a terrible character that needs to be written out, but a Well written new character that we all need to be patient and see how his story unfolds. Just because he's a jackass doesn't mean he's a terrible character. Not all characters will give you your jollies...

Sep 19th 2009 12:59AM When the mages get a resto/holy tree... Mages are DPS/CC/decursers the best way they increase tank survivability is by sheeping something to make the pull easier decursing something th will bring insta death or by burning something down asap. the focus magic thing i think is BS too. I'm a holy pally and IMO we are the ones that could use the 3% crit the most... and we normally have the highest crit amongst all healers.

Hunter thoughts on the Patch 3.2.2 Armor Penetration nerf {WoW}

Sep 10th 2009 11:16AM see everything above my comment? this is why Armor pen spell power etc are being removed... my head hurts after reading this. Cataclysm can't come soon enough in my opinion.

Class Q&A: Death Knight {WoW}

Jun 28th 2009 5:18PM @sargetony

hmm... where to start...

#1 cheetah/pack dazes you therefore not used unless you're just running somewhere... Unholy has Ebonplague bringer for their raid buff... X% magical Damage increase. that o me is more useful than the old unholy aura.

Frost has Imp. Icy Talons. all your melee attack x amount faster for 20 seconds... hmm... interestingly this goes along with the 20 second disease CD of Frost feaver... i for one as a Frost tank love this because it helps me crank out my rotation for more threat... imo more useful than the negligible amount of resistance 80 resistance would give you...

Blood has Abomination's Might... here is your hunter analogy in full force... ferocity pets have ferocious inspiration or something like that that buffs attack power of the raid by x amount... so bring the player not the class applies here...

now... imagine all 3 in one raid. Your DK's will be cranking crazy numbers as well as your pallies Warriors get the nice IT and Abom's might buff and all your ranged benefit in someway from all 3 of those buffs at least 1 for each of the ranged classes (abom and it for hunters, epb for mage,boomkin, etc).

auras were weak in comparison.

to comment on DW i think that DW will be my way to go for frost DPS in 3.2 i can't wait to check it out =)

Ask a Lore Nerd: Trollin' {WoW}

Apr 21st 2009 2:30PM @Kyleen

however. using your explanation of the arcane (yes i am just playing devils advocate here so please don't flame me this is for the sake of discussion because i too, even though i don't roll a gnome, wish gnomes had a healing class whatever it maybe/encompass) they could juat "wiggle their fingers" and close a wound thus healing their companions. So a gnome priest/paladin could be a priest/paladin of the arcane no? or, again for the sake of discussion, be a priest/paladin of fire cauterizing wounds shut using sutures and such, or even of the frost using ice to prevent swelling and packing lost limbs in their conjured ice for reattachment through aforementioned arcane/fire magic sutures (hows that for creative and "hey lets see if this works" gnomishness for ya?). either way one could make an argument for gnomish healers. *Especially* since the different races manipulate different powers to suit their beliefs. Gnome priest/pally ftw imo...

In-game fixes for April 20th and April 21st {WoW}

Apr 21st 2009 1:23PM @ Osmeric

I know on my server if the horde looses for anything more than 3 days straight they bring entire guilds to completely decimate the alliance. If either faction really wanted to win they'd organize the numbers and do it. I have been up against 20 stacks of tenacity... it isn't fun they become 5-10 man instance bosses... if you come with inferior numbers you SHOULD lose and then organize the numbers at another time. think about it in true warfare an outnumbered side can win, and they don't have a magical thing that makes them better... I play a DK and i should not be 1 shot by a pally ever however i have been... tenacity buff FTL this is just going to make WG that much more suck when the opposing faction decides to say "ahh screw it i don't wanna do WG today."
