Dec 10th 2010 8:48AM Captain Placeholder obviously!
He has done more for the people of Azeroth than any leader ever has! He got you to where you needed to be, without bias or judgement. What more can you ask for?
Dec 8th 2010 4:03AM Woo! Another EU available giveaway! =D
Dec 7th 2010 4:16AM Woo at last something to enter! And I could do with a shiney new mount! =D
Oct 15th 2010 11:29AM That sounds more logical, although I'm not sure how those bricks are *still* glowing hot... (unless this pic was taken shortly afterwards)
Sep 24th 2010 10:31AM Its the new Swimspeed Totem, grafted in place by the gnomes for that extra little boost!
The goblins tried to improve on the design with Rocket Propulsion, but despite the initial success of their above water Epic Maelstrom Patrol, they've had repeated failure getting rockets to work underwater....
Sep 17th 2010 11:25AM Also loving Undercity. The green goo is a bit odd (more so in that the sewers that go *up*) and the extensive use of skulls in its architecture is overly cliché, but my god the layout is perfect.
The two tiered inner circle makes it easy to keep things close together but clear where the exits are for the various areas are.
The clever "colour coding" of the quarters (as well as quartering the outer circle in itself) makes it very easy to locate yourself and know which way to go.
The repeating layout conventions of where class trainers, skill trainers, vendors, AH, bank and "exits" makes finding these things intuitive and transposable between classes/goals when running on alts.
And of cause the fact that you will *always* get to where you're going even if you head in the wrong direction due to it being one big circle (with the added ability to save time by cutting through the middle "AH circle") means that a simple error wont cause you to have to backtrack for another 3 mins because you misremembered where something was.
It also has a convenient inset courtyard for holiday events (and a GIANT pumpkin for Halloween) and a decent distance between "side entrance" and "boss" when alliance are raiding on it so you have time to launch a counter attack! (I also love how alliance somehow always manage to get lost in UC, gawd knows how though).
To say the least, I love that city, and I cant wait to see the ruins above it fully made and explorable!
Aug 2nd 2010 4:22AM The weekend foiled me out of two more entries, man I suck at this...
Jul 30th 2010 4:23AM Cunningly stuck the link in my daily favourites, cant possibly miss another day now!
Jul 29th 2010 4:31AM Another entry! It's shockingly hard to remember to do this every day =S
Jul 27th 2010 11:58AM Well I entered the spectral safari on the weekend and failed to win one of these, but even with 7 attempts I have a feeling I had better odds then than I do now...
