"Emergency" rolling restarts {WoW}

Feb 6th 2009 7:55PM i was in the middle of WSG match and didnt read this logging in or notice the announcments in my chat frame. Found out though when i was stunlocking some dude in bear form that was capping our damn flag....Whatever it was one of those shoutout matches where we lose anyways.

Please do us all a favor, if you just dinged 70 or are still in the lower 70s, don't join the 70-79 brackett of pvp. Youre gonna get raped by all the l33t norhtrend higher-level instance gear. Youre just costing the rest of us honor.

A license plate fit for an epic frame {WoW}

Jan 27th 2009 4:05PM Aren't custom plates like...200 dollars?

Addon Spotlight: AutoBar {WoW}

Jan 25th 2009 4:26PM Like balukli said, it uses quite a bit of memory. I've tried it, and i didn't like how it looked on screen (Boo hoo), but it had pretty good functionality. I've switche to a combination of Select, which lets you make macros that will drop out an item menu like in the picture for whatever item class you specify, even multiple buttons of the same kind, and Opie, by far one of the best non-clutter addons out there, although i'm not sure how its appetite for memory is.

Ezra Wheathoof is Thunder Bluff's newest Elder {WoW}

Jan 24th 2009 2:39PM Awesome. This is why i love Blizzard. They hide jokes, make refrences to various movies and other video games, and now this. Blizzard rocks.

The Empire of Zul'drak issue resolved with a new quest {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 9:30PM How many people do you guys recommend for the Ampitheatre of Anguish? Considering theyre all around 74-76. IMO if you have a solid tank, heals, and dps, 3's what we used for the Ring of Blood. Is the AoA harder?

Addon Spotlight: Dominos {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 1:22PM I'm an avid Dominos user, since WotLK, and i've found it to be VERY useful. You can set it up to autopage to certain bars when you shapeshift as a druid, which saves me a lot of keystrokes in the middle of combat, and even set up a modifier key to quickly set up another bar (probably your most frequently needed switcher-uper) on top of whatever bar youre on. My druid is a good ole' Tree of Life, and i mostly use Clique and grid for my heals, but every now and then when i have to heal a target that's not in my party, i have it set up where I hold down ctrl and my entire healing arsenal comes up over my main bar, no matter what shapeshift i'm in. I could imagine this would be useful for a feral druid all the same that may want to quickly cast a heal on themselves or an emergency heal for a party member, without having to hit the unshift key and then switch actionbars.

Although after reading the first page or so of comments here i'm going to check out macaroon and see what it can do, or at least read about what it can do, lol.

PS--Moar addon spotlights! I'm a major addon nerd and i love reading about'em, especially on this site. Shit i'll help you write articles if it's too cumbersome to dish one out every week or so.

Preview of World of Warcraft comic issue 15 {WoW}

Last Week on Massively: WoW-related stories {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 12:53PM Being the UI nerd that I am, i'm really interested and wish i had the money to dish out to try this 3D NVIDIA stuff. Think about if you set up your UI to be floating pieces surrounding your vision, with your health and mana set up to become more apparent when they begin to lower. So many cool ideas running through my head with the possibilities of this.

Breakfast Topic: Fun in the 3.0.8 sun {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 12:47PM Well after learning that a bunch of my addons are now merely bugged out pieces of annoying looking ui elements, getting dropped a couple times while questing, and getting used to the CD on Wild Growth (although still healing Violet Hold now problem), i'd have to give this patch a big ughhhhhhhhhh. Can't wait for the fixes.

One upside is this is motivating me to get my desktop computer all fixed up and running (i'm on my laptop now), as i'll probably have to redo my ui anyways, and plus i've been aching for a bigger resolution than 1024x720.
