My only concern is it is another incentive for gold buyers/sellers.
The loot that you can buy with gold is somewaht limited.
With this it opens up the list of items you can buy with loot greatly.
It creates a way of a new 80 to completely gear up via RL gold.
Oct 22nd 2009 12:38AM However second life is a legit company and hence the ingame-RL cash conversions can be tracked logged from a single point. The equivalent situation in wow is done by numerous individuals in numerous countries and would be infanitley harder to track/tax.
I dont think wow is ever in danger of seeing a tax for ingame 'assets'. That said i do know they are people out there who run gold selling 'busnisess', i wonder how their operations and incomes are treated by their governments/laws. All Illegal im guessing.
