Jun 23rd 2009 4:39PM @Tes You're complaining about healing as a holy priest? You realize that along with the spirit nerf, circle of healing got an insane buff right? To prevent newer priests from having a difficult time healing, blizzard gave them crazy buffs to healing output. I was worried that after the mana nerf, fights like 10 man maly would be harder for me to pulloff. I was wrong. With shadowfiend, hymn of hope and inner focus+divine hymn, not only am I not running out of mana on fights like 10 man malygos, I'm able to take much more of the load myself because my heals are so much more potent.

Also, bear in mind that at this point in the release of Wotlk, you're much more likely to gather a well geared group for any instance or raid. I am seeing people get more geared 2 hours into dinging 80, than I was 2 months after dinging. If you think it was easier to run the older content back in december, you're mistaken.

Apr 28th 2009 9:06AM You ask for one, but I'll list a few :P

In Wintergrasp, have tenacity reduce stun and silence duration, and a mechanism to reduce the amount of interrupts allowed on one player (a temporary debuff preventing you from being interrupted for x seconds after an interrupt, with x scaling with tenacity). An increase in respawn time for the faction that is greater in numbers.

Allow mind control to give us at least ONE ability from our target. Give us a buff, a totem, a dance - anything!

Better guild customization. Tabards that can be upgraded via different guild achievements. Guild theme songs. Let us compose about 8 seconds worth of a little jingle, that is played whenever we down a boss. Your guild can earn different instruments through accomplishments. Mounts which display your guild tabard. A Guild Currency/Guild Store. Guild masters can distribute guild currency, which are much like emblems. It can be set up to hand them out to players as an allowance (e.g. 1 badge per week), or awarded for guild bank deposits of certain quality items, or to give them out like DKP to every player in a raid group. There is a section of the guild bank which can sell items for guild badges.

Jan 20th 2009 8:01AM I think people are forgetting that Circle of Healing now has a major buff with all additional procs to Crit heals. We have an instant cast that will, not only heal 5 people, but if any of those crit, then you'll proc a Flash of Light or Clearcasting. Let's say you manage to have 20% holy crit... This means that on a single cast of circle of healing, you have a 67% chance of one of them critting, which means a 30% chance of clearcasting, and a 33% chance of Flash of light.

Even with the 6 second cooldown, it will be worth your while to spec into CoH, and use the ability when it's up to farm a clearcast. Once one comes up, use the opportunity to enter a long mp5 regeneration mode, stringing another big heal with inner focus.

Jan 20th 2009 7:47AM I'm a holy priest, and I've been healing heroics since I was in blues and greens, and now I'm 10 badges short of [500 emblems of heroism] achievement. Whichever priests are on your server must not know how to play their class, or their talents are all wrong. New priests just have to focus on using bigger, more mana efficient heals, and stop-cast until the tank needs the heal. Once they have enough spirit/mp5 where mana isn't a problem, then it really gets easy.
