Breakfast Topic: The most memorable raid interruption {WoW}

Mar 18th 2011 8:32AM Attempting to raid in the midst of Hurricane Katrina. Needless to say, I didn't make it through the night of raiding.

Aug 31st 2009 8:40PM This is probably wishful thinking, but if the troll druid forms were more stranglethornian based, such as if the Bear was a Croc, Cat was a Raptor, and moonkin was... something, that would be kind of cool. In my opinion, of course, I still love the current Bares and Katz.

Aug 26th 2009 10:59PM God almighty, the one somewhere above who said that the expansions have been just a continuation of WC3, you are so right.

I for one, really hope this expansion revolutionizes the story of the game. In fact, as an RPer, this will really open serious amounts of roleplaying amazingness. When WOTLK was released, it was interesting at first, but now almost all of the roleplayers I know have their characters stories based on killing Arthas (Or at least the ones whose conflicts are not Human vs Nature, or Human vs Self, leaving the most common Human vs Human).

Thing is, lore is going to become crazy good with this expansion, seeing as TBC and WOTLK were following plotlines which everyone knows how they will end, with the exception of a few plot twists, namely setbacks like Light's Hope, and Tempest Keep, and the soon-to-be plot twist of Bolivar and Saurfang Jr. being zombified. With these 2 straightforward plots finished, so much will be available for story; in fact, aside from killing Deathwing, the plot could go absolutely anywhere. It's far more open ended than TBC and WOTLK.

God, I'm psyched to death for this.

In-Game Launch event for Cataclysm confirmed {WoW}

Aug 25th 2009 10:50PM But in all honesty, with all this news of Garrosh taking over the Horde, and Cairne dying, something MASSIVE is going to go down.

Perhaps Thrall becomes Guardian of Tirisfal, leaving him no choice to appoint a new leader for the Horde, although, he easily could choose Cairne to do it... but in that case, perhaps that would lead Garrosh to become jealous and.... hmm, I'm thinking while typing, it seems a plausible idea to me, seeing as Thrall and Garrosh have an Obi-wan/Anikin style relationship in the Horde, the wise one training the emo one.

On another side, we could see the cataclysm start taking effect as the world crumbles and the elementals from the plains drift into Azeroth.

It's all going to be cool.

On a side note, I think it would be amazing fun if we could go to each elemental plane, such as Skywall, and do important things there... perhaps that will come in expansion 4.
