WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage -- The Prologue {WoW}

Nov 17th 2011 5:34PM Man, this is turning heartbreaking, because we already know how it's going to turn out.
*sniffle*

World of WarCrafts: The stunning cosplay of Christina Sims {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 6:36PM Seeing Paladin T12 in "real life" confirms my reaction that no real fighter would ever wear something like that. Great looking costume, though.

The Light and How to Swing It: Ret talent preview for Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 8:48AM You & me, both. I'm not getting excited or planning on anything on the new talents for *any* class until we're closer to a release date and things are more set in stone. For now, all of these can change.

Me, personally, I'd like some more flashy light-wings & angel-appearances stuff to showcase our "Champion of the Light" role as paladins and REALLY set us apart.

Breakfast Topic: Who should play your character in the WoW movie? {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 8:43AM Since Hollywood focuses on all these young beautiful skinny glamorous female actors, I can't think of a single one to play my stout down-to-earth, plain, hard-drinkin', hard-fightin' Champion of the Light, female dwarf paladin of the flame-red hair, Arugadh.

*Maybe* Sigourney Weaver, if only for her kick-a$$-ness in Aliens.

BlizzCon 2011: Heroic Scholomance and Scarlet Monastery redesign {WoW}

Oct 22nd 2011 6:54PM I LIKE the re-vamps and heroic modes. It's a way of allowing us to re-visit the old content and keeping it relevant at the higher levels. Now if only Blizz could work out a way for mobs' levels to change based on the level of the player fighting them...that would REALLY keep it relevant for us as we progress.

Breakfast Topic: Which part of "Mists of Pandaria" has you most excited? {WoW}

Oct 22nd 2011 1:12PM @Knob: EXACTLY.

One of the biggest problems is that outside of raiding, there was never much else fun to do (grind rep, grind dailies, grind badges, farm mats, rinse repeat). RP only takes you so far; the achievements were sort of a step in the right direction. I love the Plants vs Zombies game they added in and the Joust daily just-for-the-pure-fun-of-it.

Blizz is finally breaking the stranglehold that raiding has had on the game to better include the rest of its player base. Maybe they have taken a page from Pokemon -- so what? Pokemon has to be FUN; if it wasn't, folks wouldn't play it.

And that is what gaming is about. FUN.

Oct 21st 2011 5:46PM That's called "transmog with the Spellfire Sword". Really.

BlizzCon 2011: Hands on with Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Oct 21st 2011 5:08PM No flying until max level? Is that gonna be worldwide, or just for the new zones?

Having to suddenly walk/ride around all the old areas after I paid for the flying & whatnot is gonna suck.
