Nov 15th 2010 4:40AM Well, the only reason I can see is guildies.
The interaction within the community is the thing that holds me firmly in this game.
The one occasion that started it of was in my very early years as a NEHunter on Shattered Halls(EU) and .
-Yeah, a fair share of elements of the beginner right there for You, herrherr ...
So, a gnome mage friend named Tripios asked me to join him for some really important matter for him in Redridge Mountains. As I was levelling in Ashenvale and didn´t have any mount yet, mind You youngsters - this was in the days when mounts were off limit ´til lvl40 and one needed a fair amount of g´s to spend aswell, I had an enormous journey ahead of me. Think I honestly spent more than an hour just to get to him and I often asked myself what the heck I was doing.
But the pay-off was so much worth it, even better than T10 armor pieces are these days, I assure You. Too bad newcomers and fresh arrivals in Azeroth wont experience these kinda things no more, I feel Your pain ... Sincerally
Sep 16th 2009 9:36AM Hmm, as a fresh NE Hunter (any else) I was running towards Stormwind when suddenly something flew by me a bit above and I realised a toon was mounted on the bird. Thinking how awesomely big this "world" must be I found myself dazzled when trying to comprehend how many more players are there.
Moments later I witnessed a massive bunch of players with their names in red and couldnt for the world of it understand why nobody bothered to conversate with me. Found em to be a bit frightening on their mounts and in their full glory of armor and weapons.
Two moments that defenitly lead to the addiscion we all learned to love/hate.
Aug 18th 2009 8:16AM Ehrmm... as protwarrior I find myself too many o´ times "rediscovering" the beauty of Vigilance, hehe.

No doubt ... The skin, texture, movement, the grinding and the awe from all those toons in IF made it all worth while.
... and it still looks great in all it´s renaissance in Northrend.
/cry it´s on my ol´ main ...
Jan 22nd 2009 8:24AM /agreed. It all comes down to context really.
After appr 16 months after installation I still find myself, and others in a potential [/w -You nOOb. L2P...] and all that.
However, I´d like to stress the importance of always stay loose and try to maintain a certain level of politeness.
It´s not the graphics, mech or even shiny purple gears, it´s all ´bout the community that makes You log on.
