Apr 14th 2011 11:54AM About 4 years ago I had a coworker who sent me the free trial of WoW and got me to sign up with him on a PvP server. At this point I have never played a game like this, so I made my character, logged in, found my friend and he told me that we had to spend time begging for gold to get gear so we did not get shanked. After a few hours of that, I decided WoW was not my kind of game.
About a year later, my fiance asked me if I have played WoW because he loved it. I told him that i had tried it and did not like it. He asked why, and I told the story above. He shook his head and stated that if I did another trial with him I would enjoy it. So I did, and three years later I am still playing, with a raid geared 85 Hunter and the guild he created for us and our friends. :)

Laffy taffy jokes and WoW go great together!
Jan 22nd 2009 4:00PM I think the leader did the right thing by dropping the mage, I mean I know there are some instances that you can run in a short period of time, but the mage should have not even tried to run it if they knew they would be leaving soon.
Other than that 20 minutes is a good G2G time i think, but only acceptable if an instance or group is taking way longer than expected ya know?
