Dec 11th 2009 2:47PM Wow, people actually NEED on Frozen Orbs on your server? WTF indeed ... nobody needs on those on Misha.
Nov 16th 2009 7:33AM Two words ... TAUREN MULLETS.
May 1st 2009 5:29PM When the event launched this time I just assumed that boys would "bunny ear" girls and vice versa (I dont have any female toons to compare achievements). So I was a little suprised when I found that it was girls no matter who did the "ear-ing", which to me seems kind of odd. That and the whole tux and dress thing, not how I figured it would be. In my defense, I did my part to make it fair - I wore the spring ears and the dress on my male troll mage, complete with basket and flowers and bunny sidekick. Talk about tough on the eyes ... WHEW!
May 1st 2009 9:33AM Now all we need is a YouTube video with some fanboi sobbing "LEAVE KARATECHOP ALONE!" and this whole debacle can go to the next level of idiocy, AMIRITE? :p
May 1st 2009 9:09AM You may be tempted to get behind Karate with the "Blizz sent it to me" defense if not for one small detail: Blizz didnt sent it to HIM. They sent it to his bud Leeroy by mistake and he traded it to Karate. He and his friend read the tooltip, they knew it was ridiculously OP and yet they rolled out and used it anways. They had to know it wasn't an item any player should ever have in their possession. If they had ticketed it and then used it to kill some random spawns out in a standard zone for chuckles, I'd say Yea, banning isnt fair here. But they didn't ticket it and then they one-shotted the whole of Ulduar with it. Even after the first boss, they could have sent in a tick and moved on, but they didn't.
Feb 24th 2009 1:30PM Yea, I agree with what you're saying here. Adapt or perish, that seems to be the blizz bylaw for rogues, sometimes becoming adapt AND perish :D We still dont know alot of the details: will only our bleeds enable HFB, or will others (Im assuming ANY bleed, which puts us ok in 10/25 man stuff where theres almost always some form of warr bleed on the mobs other than trash) , what will its duration be (30 sec, or length of the bleed, and will it deactivate if/when we switch to a non-bleeding target, etc), will it still be a skill or a reactive (as a reactive talent, it could quickly go from nerf to huge buff, possibly, dare I say, OP). Time (and more patch notes and player submissions from PTR) will tell.
Feb 24th 2009 12:37PM Yes, but what do you think about the HFB change? The new wording I see here makes it seem less UGH, but still ... I guess if I changed my standard opener when soloing/pvp to Cheap Shot/Rupture/HFB .... but then how to get Slice n Dice going early enough to make a difference ... yea, I will have to dwell on this. I do like the poison changes tho, overall.
Feb 24th 2009 8:36AM Rogue
* Hunger For Blood: No longer stacks. Damage bonus changed to 15% for a single application. Requires a bleed effect active on the Rogue's target. No longer removes bleeds from the Rogue.
Am I the only Mutilate rogue feeling majorly shafted by this change? So, what, I cant HFB stealthed before I attack? Or does the 15% only apply if I have a bleed on the target, forcing me to use Garrote instead of Cheap Shot? Sheesh ... Nothing good, and a nerf that wasnt needed, isnt warranted, and will most likely make me wanna respec. Yet another Combat Sword rogue ... hurray.
* Players at maximum level will now be able to visit their trainer to pay a one-time fee and access the dual talent spec feature.
Ummm ... WHY is this max level only? Was it so much to ask for to be able to spec my druid balance for leveling in Northrend and yet still able to hearth into a town and change to a healing spec for instances? I didnt think so. And the 1000g cost shown in the screenshot, let's just hope thats sticker shock for the PTR or something ... that's outrageous for something we've needed in-game for a LONG time.
I could go on and on - these are horrid, horrid notes for almost everyone (dics priest, DW dk, etc etc etc).
Feb 13th 2009 8:07AM My first slot backpack ... I've had that frakkin thing since lvl 1! >.
Feb 13th 2009 8:01AM You wanna see a tough crafting system that takes literally years to master ... try on Star Wars Galaxies. As any good Master Armorsmith in that game will tell you, it's TOUGH.
