The reason they didn't allow you to use your flying mount until 77 is because being able to fly right when you arrive to Northrend at 70 would've ruined the atmosphere and plot development of the game. They also didn't want to spend years developing a continent just so that you can fly over and explore it in minutes. Questing in Northrend was a very epic experience and a flying mount from 70 would've ruined it.
You are just complaining just because you can.
Mar 25th 2009 2:30PM Blizz would rather want 65 percent less participants in arena if those 65 percent are all the people who would just lose 10 games a week for free gear.
If you think it is the arena diehards who ruined arena, you'd be wrong. It is the lose 10 games a week lamers who forced Blizz to put strict personal ratings on every piece of gear.
Mar 24th 2009 1:44PM Maybe if you have played a warrior in bg, people would view you as something other than a nerd-raging idiot. But please, keep rambling about a class you have no clue about.
You strike me as one of those retardins with a serious case of unwarranted self-entitlement, who seriously think you won't be OP if Blizz decides to one day give you a MS, spell interrupt, an intercept, and a snare.
Mar 6th 2009 2:56PM Like what was said in the article:
Some DK are dead; not all DK are dead.
Arthas never died. When you finish the Human campaign in WC3 the game states that he wondered off into Northrend with Frostmourne where he eventually lost the last of his sanity and humanity, thus becoming a Death Knight. All throughout WC3 and its expansion there were no evidence or plot that revealed he had died.
I'd think Arthas was still alive right before he merged his soul with Ner'zhul. Since Ner'zhul had long been physically dead at that point and it was his spirit that merged with Arthas, it'd make sense that Arthas no longer needed a heart to "live", having absorb Ner'zhul's power of "living" without a body, which was endowed to him by the Burning Legion when they put him in his icy throne.
Mar 6th 2009 2:20PM GC is at most telling a half-truth when he claims that people don't wear pvp gear in arena because pve gear is too easy to get. I have a guildmate who is a ret pally with 2200 personal arena ratings, yet refuses to wear any of his Deadly gear he could easily buy, except for several accessories here and there (he has low 200 resi in arena).
So tell me, GC; why would he stick with his pve gear in pvp, despite having full access to every single piece of arena gear which requires any ratings? Could it be that pvp gear just suck shit because Blizz made them shitty; because Blizz bowed down to cry babies whining about how some people were wearing pvp gear in pve?
Could it be that resilience and how it is budgeted in items has not nor will never catch up to the insane damage boost all classes recieved in WOTLK?
Could it be that GC doesn't play his own game?

Blizz is against gold selling since it destroys the economy with massive inflation. To make an example, let just say that everyone except you on your server has brought tens of thousands of gold. Everything on the AH would become a lot more expensive since people would have a lot more gold to spend and would be willing to pay more than they did, and you, the person who didn't buy gold, would have to suffer because of it.
Second, Blizz wants us to play this game as much as we can. The more time we spend farming gold for raid mats or personal reasons, the more time we are playing the game. The worst thing that can happen to a MMORPG is for players to run out of things to do.
Feb 12th 2009 5:09PM If you think that the devs have never made any mistakes regarding class balance and especially in pvp, then I think that is quit laughable.
I'm going to end the conversation here; and in the meanwhile chuckle to myself as you continue to call people names such as "spinless" without knowing what it really means, the fact that you continue to use it out of context, and the fact that you do not realize the irony and the hypocrisy of you calling others "spineless" while in the comfort of your room, hiding behind a monitor and a keyboard. Enjoy your day.
Feb 12th 2009 4:42PM No. I do not believe he is what "everything that is wrong in the game". However, I believe that he doesn't play his own game when he makes statements such as "people wear Naxx gear because it's easy to get, not because it's better than pvp gear", which makes him a clueless moron (notice how a huge chunk of dps classes in 2000+ arena ratings are wearing a mix of pve gear?).
Feb 12th 2009 3:13PM How am I more "spineless" than you or anyone else here, Eversor? We are all behind our monitors rather we disagree or agree with GC. So just because I have a different opinion than GC means I am somehow "spineless" and you're not? F off.
Feb 9th 2009 1:56AM A lot of you are missing the point. The point is not that it is too overpowered per say, but it should be used more strategically. Devs doesn't want this ability to be macroed to FoL; something that is used everytime the cd is up.
