The Queue: It belongs in a museum {WoW}

Sep 13th 2010 2:27AM I think they look like the little plastic troll toys with gems in their bellies sold in the 80s and 90s.

Some people have also been calling the bear form models Care Bears or Terror Bears.

Cataclysm Beta: New character introductions for all races {WoW}

Aug 31st 2010 12:28PM I hate Garrosh with a passion. If he doesn't die by the end of Cataclysm's arc I'm not buying the next expansion.

I know he's in a very central location of new Orgrimmar but I'm doubtful many people are going to defend him. At least I wouldn't...

Cataclysm Beta: New character introductions for all races {WoW}

Aug 31st 2010 12:25PM He's used to cast "Make Lazy"

Its a lot like Hibernate except it involves a La-Z-Boy recliner, a 6-pack, and a large bag of Doritos.

Seriously, what has the guy done besides die to Alliance players for their achievements?

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Lessons unlearned {WoW}

Aug 28th 2010 10:13AM I can totally see a face in that fire.

Oh, and burned Tauren fur smells HORRIBLE!!

Know Your Lore: An'she and the Holy Light, page 2 {WoW}

Aug 16th 2010 9:24AM Since WotLK, I've thought that dwarves and humans are connected to the Light through the Titans, and their relation to the earth in that their progenitor races are the more earthen of the Titans' creations.

The addition of the Sunwalkers to the tauren community and the fact it was derived through the tauren's earth and heavens based beliefs/religion/mythos only makes my speculative argument stronger.

Another point or theory I'd like to make is that perhaps the Titans actually created the Light as one of many defense mechanisms against the Old Gods and the evil entities of the Twisting Nether (i.e. The Burning Legion).

Thus far the Old Gods have personified evil, death, darkness, and desctruction. What better symbolic foil is there to the those aspects of the Old Gods' powers than the Light and its embodiment of life, light, and prosperity?

Its possible the Light cannot be linked directly to any one entity -- it could simply be a force put in place to allow the races of Azeroth a buffer against all these forces seeking to destroy their world. As Ms. Stickney argued, it could be related to the Earth Elementals. Perhaps they could simply be entrusted as a source.

It only makes sense that more races stumble upon the Light as time goes on. Of course the Light is not meant for just anyone. In order for one to become attuned to such power one would have to have an idea of how to reach out to it in the first place as well as understand the principles in which it operates, adhere to those guidelines, and exercise the power responsibly. In other words -- be worthy of wielding it.

Blood Pact: Affliction changes in the beta {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2010 2:16PM "I had hoped that the holes in the affliction tree would be filled with liquified mage genitals, but considering their size, it could never be enough."

Beta has only begun.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: 1 to 60 the Cataclysm way {WoW}

Jul 31st 2010 4:51AM This is where it really hit me that the war between our factions is soon to become werewolves vs. mana vampires.

Cataclysm Beta: New blacksmithing items revealed {WoW}

Jul 1st 2010 1:56AM I thought Attack Power was being removed?

Blizzard: No professional LAN version of StarCraft II but ... {Big Download}

Jun 25th 2010 5:20AM In one context it sounds like Blizzard wants to milk the pro tourneys for some money.
