I haven't been lucky enough to get a single Sinister Revenge to drop, and I've run Naxx every week since this dumb expansion came out. Wish I could have that many daggers for different teams/poisons etc.

Mar 22nd 2009 8:25PM Interesting, I'm glad Lamures explained his setup. I'f he is still hanging around, I have a couple other questions:
1) If you sit on plate wearers, how come you don't put points into Setup? Seems like the combo points would really help. In addition, what Glyphs do you use? Do you SnD or Eviscerate?
2) How do you manage to stay alive with such little resilience? I sometimes wear 711 and still get crit for 9k by Ferocious Bite or Execute.
3) I'm guessing you think Rogues have good survivability. What would you liked to see changed in 3.1? Do you think Backstab and Hemo are fine, or would you like to see Killing Spree become a good PVP spec with the buffs going on there?
4) This one might seem a bit noobish, but do you use Mutilate whenever you have the energy for it, or do you find yourself pooling a lot? I'm trying to become a better player and this has intrigued me lately.

Feb 21st 2009 8:12PM I just want to stop in and say thanks to Meetsi for recognizing that Rogues have no survivability right now. Alot of people just disregard Rogue problems, but it takes a smart player to realize when other classes need some love.

Feb 5th 2009 2:15AM That's a good observation. I also noted that the fake patch notes also correctly predicted that Killing Spree increases your damage by 20%.
The problem with those patch notes, though, is that every single thing they listed was a class buff that is what everyone wanted. Not a single nerf, if I recall correctly.
For now, it's just a good guess.
Feb 4th 2009 11:48AM I'd like to make a comment about Rogue/Shaman.
I currently run this comp, and I personally love it. I actually put 3 points into Setup and usually go at it with the melee DPS of the other team. Whenever I dodge their attack (22%-ish I think), I gain a combo point; this happens all the time, so I get to use all my finishers, like Expose Armor, Rupture, Eviscerate, and Slice and Dice. We win by running out the mana of the other healer. My shaman has a healing trinket off Malygos that is very good, and he is very skilled. In many ways, the team is carried by the shaman.
If possible, we try to get the healer to blow his trinket. Against anything that isn't holy paladin, I will blind the healer when the guy I'm DPSing gets to about 50%. He will be forced to trinket, and then my Shaman will Hex him. Against Holy Paladin, we use blind early so he is forced to trinket, then he will be forced to bubble out of Hex.
Rogues, start gemming for 8agi/resil + whatever you need for your meta gem. I rolled with about 450 resilience for while, while now I have 711. My partner says it is extremely noticeable how much more survivability I have. Don't be surprised if you get Executed or PoM/Pyro'd for 10k though. It happens, and it is completely out of your control and in the hands of Ghostcrawler.
Jan 31st 2009 11:53PM What are all the 'hatch' things around Northrend? I see them on the ground all the time, but don't know what the purpose is other than to reference 'Lost'.
