May 3rd 2011 3:39PM By the end of the week, I'll be done with this semester, which has been busy enough that I haven't played my shaman pretty much at all in probably 3 months. Last night was my first real exposure to 4.1, healing the last half of a ZA pug. It was more difficult than I'd imagined. Some of it was just not knowing the dungeon, some was being out of practice playing Resto, and some was probably just PUG mistakes.

I queued alone, I queued when Call to Arms Healer was active, and we beat the final boss of ZA. No bag of goodies.
May 3rd 2011 3:25PM I've been very busy with finals, so last night was the first time I actually had time to actually sit down and play 4.1. I queued as a healer, and at the time I did that Call to Arms Healer was active. I was placed in an in-progress Zul'aman, and about an hour later we were done (too much wiping on the last boss). However, I never received my extra bag of goodies. Any idea what happened? If it's no longer a Call to Arms by the time you finish, do you not get the reward? Did the Call to Arms go away before I was placed in a group?
May 2nd 2011 1:29PM I never got Dressed for the Occasion. But this year's Noblegarden fell right in the middle of my finals period, so I haven't had time to play WoW pretty much at all lately, and after reading some of the posts on Wowhead about how long it's taken some people to get the dress from an egg, I decided I wasn't even gonna bother.
May 1st 2011 2:48PM To add on to the question about shamans and the Spirit of the Wild, I believe that Ghost Wolf and Feral Spirits would also be spells evoking this fifth element.

What's your ele subspec look like? I'm running 3/3 Acuity, 2/3 Concussion, 2/2 Call of Fire, and 3/3 Elemental Precision (not for the Spirit-to-Hit part obviously, the rest of the talent is essentially extra Mastery).
Improved Shields is easily the weakest DPS talent in the Enh tree. Taking that last point and putting it in pretty much anything else. There's a fair amount of leeway between how to invest into Acuity, Concussion, Call of Fire, Reverberation, and Elemental Precision.
Apr 30th 2011 7:45PM So, this'll be my third Children's Week, and before the announcement of the new pets, I was quite happy to be able to get Veteran Nanny done. However, these new pets sound way cooler than the older ones I haven't gotten yet (the rat and the baby elekk).
Any word on if Veteran Nanny had been updated, so that's something like get 3 of the following 4, so that I can take Legs and still get the achievement? That'd be incredible.

The Enh spec I'm currently using (and I assume a lot of us are using) is this:
The 2 points in Improved Shields could go somewhere else, as IS is a rather trivial DPS boost for Enh. They have to be in the Enh tree somewhere, but none of the other options are hugely compelling either.
Apr 30th 2011 2:48PM There are currently two floater points in our Enh spec. A lot of players had those points in Improved Fire Nova, but now I suppose the only DPS talent we can put them in is Improved Shields. As IS doesn't actually provide much of a DPS gain, would you recommend putting those two points somewhere else for utility? Toughness or Totemic Reach or maybe even Frozen Power, if only to take advantage of the Frost Shock root.
Apr 29th 2011 7:41PM Orange gear for everyone!
My major complaint: the paladin gear just doesn't look like it's plate. Until I saw which class it belonged to, I figured it was a clothie set.
