Mar 1st 2011 12:33PM Any idea how Blizzard is gonna go by handling content patches and Valor Points? I know in the past for areana seasons they do a wipe of the top line points so that you can't bank them and then go out and load up on the newest high end supplies on day one. Do you think they are gonna do this for Valor points as well and then through some mathamatic scribble on the wall turn them into justice points when they move the current valor items to the justice vendor?
Jul 9th 2010 12:04PM I'd have to say that about 20-30% of my play time is afk or non-active play (where your crafting mass foods/pots/flask). I come home from work and put wow/vent up for a few befroe dinner, leave it up while eating dinner and then play some more. Its just easier to leave it up then try to log on since Coilfang-US seems to run into a problem on a weekly basis with the login or authetication server having hiccups.
Jan 2nd 2010 9:01AM Side Note: You are a parent and get private time with your partner?? How i envy you, the only private time i ever get is when Nitequil or some other medical Sedative is in use and even then there is no guarentee!!
Jan 2nd 2010 8:57AM You wait until they are 4?? I have 2 year old fishing for me already even thought i've drowned a few times now, i have more fish then i can use until the Cataclysm comes out. Just trying to figure out a way for her to farm up eternals without getting yelled at by the wife.

Jul 26th 2009 4:20PM As someone who has lvled as a tank, healer and dps. I would say as a healer or as a tank, both are equally as easy. As a tank you control the speed at which you run the instance and for the most part keep the mobs faced away from everyone else. As the healer you keep people alive, if a dps don't listen to what they are suppose to do, can't keep from pulling agro or what not, kill them, let them stay face down eating dirt and then you have 1 less person to worry about, throw in some dps, stand behind the mob/boss and melee when your not casting and such. As melee, its your responsiblity to kill every enemy as fast as possible while not pulling agro, not standing in the fire, and not being an overal douche. As a healer you are the unsung hero, you never get compared about on a dps chart, you never get big grats when you do a whole instance without losing agro and/or making the healers job easy by having huge mitigation. As a healer you just sit in the back of the room holding everyone's life in your hands and no one cares that you will go blind in a year or two from staring at small boxes/bars. You'll expected to be there when the stuff hits the fan but otherwise, just be quiet and out of the way!!!
Jul 11th 2009 9:06AM I'm really happy about the gear it drops in there as i'm currenlty lvling a new arms/prot warrior and this will make for an easy transition into raiding. However, i do have 1 concern about the way the new emblems of Conquest (used for Ulduar lvl gear) seem to be dropping in normal and heroic versions. In essence you seem to be able to farm the normal mode continueously for 3 of the emblems and 3 of the tokens for the Argent Crusade event.
Mar 24th 2009 2:14PM At this point, The9 should be shut down. Wrait was suppose to be release about 2 months ago in Mainland China and I would suspect with all the finacial problems the company has faced, that they haven't been putting up much of an effort to get Lich King working on all the chinese players computers. One they have to realize is Blizz Doesn't need The9, they will just get another company to handle Wow if they dont' choose to just do it all themselves. The9 needs Blizzard and Wow to stay alive.
Feb 24th 2009 4:03PM It would amazingly nice is this was not just a 25 man drop as my guild is relativly small on raiders. I do agree that it should be significantly harder to get int eh 10 man then 25 man but i do think that since blizz wants everyone to be able to see the content they create, it should also be reflected in any specialized gear that would be dropped as well.
Feb 23rd 2009 4:48PM Both of the websites that were listed in the sarticle should be clasified as resources to chelp judge where a server is in progression and not really where a guild stands. Alot fo guilds i know just don't post their progerssion everytime they down a boss but rather when they clear a raid out whihc puts them much farther down the progression list then other guilds who choose to post daily. This doesn't make eithe rof the guilds better then the other. If you really want to know where you guild stands on progession, just ask around in general chat or trade chat. The response you get from your peers on your sever would be a hell of a lot more accurate then any website can tell you. Also with the websites every patch or expansion will have a plateau where you can not progress past another guild when all content has been cleared. Being the best raiding guild is alot of cases goes far beyond simple progression. It is a factor of how well you interact with outher raiding guilds, the players you choose to associate with in guild and teh effort you give when raiding. The websites were created a logn time ago when tehre was only truely 1 tier of raiding unlike the duel tier raiding that is going on now in Wotlk. these sites currently say that any guild that is doing 25 man content is better then a guild that is purely doing 10 man content yet almost anyone you talk to with say the majority of the 10 man content is harder then the 25 man content is bu ttakes less peopel to achieve.
