May 18th 2010 6:06AM Oh please help me get my Mountain O Mounts :)
Apr 27th 2010 9:06AM He was probably the first one who actually hit the resurrect button and thus back in the dungeon first, because the rest was as lazy as always and felt they did not need to run because they were special.
If a priest runs, you run, easy
If you don't, no rez for you!
Apr 26th 2010 4:32PM "It would be folly to insist that people don't play for the gear, because they do, and when 25s no longer drop superior gear, I feel like there will be a lot more people who don't think they have to 'deal' with what they feel to be crappy players and will form their own guilds and raiding groups."
Feb 28th 2010 9:33AM The best dungeon in WoW: Scholomance
Also fun would be SM HC. BRD would be hell, but hey it might be the one and only proper Heroic one :)
Feb 2nd 2010 6:11AM I don't care at all if people know I am playing WoW, as a matter of fact all my friends do know not to call me on raidnights.
Although the app looks interesting, what I do NOT need is a link between me and my characters, there's no need for anyone to know who is behind my chars in RL.
Jan 25th 2010 5:20AM I can believe passing the item to the mage because you were on your alt and maybe he wasn't. Or maybe it was a bigger upgrade for him.
But passing it because of this strange philosophy you have about gearing DPS before Healers...
I cannot recall the number of times I passed on great upgrades because they had hit on them and it would be utterly silly to roll on them as a holy priest. I can only recall one instance of a nice DPS guildy who passed on an item because it had spirit on it.
DPS have a lot more drops to choose from and should pass on spirit items if the item is an upgrade for healers.
Dec 6th 2009 8:42AM Other than micro transactions these things are not necessary to advance in the game world so I am fine with them and with how much they cost, they do give people the extra incentive to really think about buying these services.
In the years since it became available I've spend hundreds of euros on transfers and one faction change, but I don't mind, it brought me to where I am now playing and it's good, if I need to change again for some reason I will.
WoW is still cheaper, even with all these extra paid options, than buying a standalone game that (exceptions aside) won't last longer than a month and will cost me 50 euros.
Dec 3rd 2009 5:33AM "However, it's worth considering that MMO spending is frequently going to be a $15 monthly subscription rather than a $50 one-time purchase -- a significant disparity in terms of overall budget."
What are you trying to say with that? Most games that are not mmo's or online do not even have 2 months of playing fun in them, making MMO's significantly cheaper. One year of MMO playing will cost you 220 EUR/US$ (incl subscription and buying the box). To satisfy an equal amount of interesting and fun in non-online games you will need to buy a new game about every 2 months, making the total cost 300 EUR/US$.
The cost per game might be higher for MMO's but the cost per hour of gameplay is way less
Dec 1st 2009 8:41AM It happens to me way too often. I don't even notice i get the buff (maybe I need to get some addon for it, but addons shouldn't be needed for something as punishing as this, it should be very obvious in the normal AI)
Many times when you enter AV the battle is already underway and people are fighting at the generals' bases. So when you enter and get flagged right away (you are in the tunnel during the fight after all, even though you just got in) you have no time to join your teammates before the buff runs out.
Just running towards your own base and defend a bit just to get rid of the buff is amazingly annoying and quite stupid too, as you risk getting reported again while trying to work your way up to your teammates.
SOmetime i cannot keep my mouth shut and comment on the horrible play of my teammates and how we are giving the victory away to the alliance, that also got me buffed and kicked, just because some kids cannot take criticism.
Blizzard should just put an automated activity test in the BG's, sure some bots will slip through but the current system doesn't work against bots either.
