Elemental Shamans to see DPS increase in 3.0.8 {WoW}
Jan 27th 2009 9:01AM I play an elemental shammy main, and this patch is a welcome buff. Pre-patch in nearly full epics from naxx/maly/OS i was able to do a consistent 2-2.4k dps, whereas a hunter in blues could almost keep up with me. Post patch i'm hitting more like 2.8-3k, and find i can stay in the top 5 of the raid usually. Anyone who complains about elemental shammy having improved dps needs to understand that if i spec as a DPS class, (which elemental is), then i need to be able to do that dps, buffs to raid are great, but if all an elemental shammy does is be a totem battery as most huntards wish, then no one would play that class. The totems are nice, but Elemental is DPS, and deserves equal, or close to equal treatment, this patch makes a nice step toward that end.
