Dec 7th 2011 8:27AM I tried it on various alts. Seems like most of the guild adverts say the same thing. A little helpful to see if a guild a a raiding one or more casual, but that's about it.
And I've never received a single response to my requests. All alts I was trying to get in guilds got in the old-fashioned way - by waiting for someone to announce a guild that sounded like a good fit on Trade chat in one of the cities.
Asynchronous invites and accepts would be a good addition to how the system works right now.
Jan 8th 2010 4:59PM This vid and post were funny to me -- I just dinged 60 for the first time and have only recently been to Shattrath. Interesting to hear it was once a hotbed of activity. Makes me glad I'm behind the times -- sounds like the lag and commotion in Dalaran are pretty bad!
Jan 2nd 2010 12:31PM I live on a farm, so WoW is strictly a late fall and winter activity. There simply isn't time for it during spring, summer, and early fall.
But when I do play, I do the same as many on here have already described: WoW takes a backseat to RL in almost every case. This usually doesn't have time to change for me, because by them time WoW might be infringing too much, it's time to unplug for the next growing season!
Mar 11th 2009 12:52PM I was thinking the same thing. Um, what?!?
Feb 24th 2009 3:56PM I was wondering the same thing. Does anyone know the answer to this?
