Jan 27th 2009 5:24PM I just can't stand people whining about how "OP" paladin heals are. For raid heals, druids and shamans can EASILY outheal a pally. For tank heals, druids and priests again can EASILY outheal us healadins. Know what we've got in raids? Survivability and mana efficiency.
When someone does something HORRIBLY wrong and people's health starts dropping like mad, healadins can shine. Pop beacon onto the tank right away, drop ANY judgment onto ANY enemy, pop Divine Illumination, wings, any trinkets you have, and go to town. Your Holy lights will cost you next to nothing, heal for a shit ton, and be coming ever 1.3 seconds or so.
If nothing really goes horribly wrong, we just get to sit back and watch as priests, druids, and shamans pull farther and farther ahead.
So what if we get ONE really good heal. It's not like we can afford to spam Holy Light throughout an entire encounter.
Strong spot heal =/= OP super healer.
