Mar 1st 2012 1:10PM I work for a global insurance company, and this sort of thing happens constantly. For example, the success of one of our newer online processes has basically rendered 350 employees nearly useless in less than a year. They went from taking 60-70 phone calls each per day, to less than 5 per day...and rather quickly. Some of the staff was absorbed by other departments, some quit, and some were let go.
This is really just business as usual.
Jan 31st 2012 4:40PM When it comes to reforging costs, I honestly hate the fact that there are any at all. Stat itemization is pretty much required (hit especially on many toons), so I do not think it should be a gold sink since it is more a gear stat band-aid that a convenience feature for players.
Along the lines of "The Arcane Reforger should do it for you...", I agree. Per spec, Blizzard knows what stats are of priority, caps included. Out of my 7 level 85 toons, I really do not want to know how much I have spent on this one.
Jan 30th 2012 3:21PM I am fine when simply floating around in a guild, but I will never, ever, ever, never again lead one or be an officer in one. I used to run a 300+ member guild back in the day, including raiding, and the time, effort and stress was entirely too much. It got to the point where I dreaded even logging on because of the awful whine-fests I had to moderate. I finally ended up appointing an officer to handle all concerns, and I literally had a "no contact" policy in game when I was online. Since that is entirely the opposite point of leading a guild, I eventually handed off lead and just dropped guilds altogether.
Jan 16th 2012 4:25PM When I tank it I tell the group I am going to walk backwards, counter clockwise, out of the smoke bomb for the entire fight. I then mark myself with the green triangle and away we go...I have had no complaints that way.
Jan 16th 2012 3:30PM I geared my pally tank in all 378 gear in about 4 days in the new heroics, and really had a good time doing it. I am an extremely patient person, and I never yell at the DPS or anyone for that matter...it just isn't worth getting upset over.
Most DF runs go smoothly, but the other night I had a group of DPS that were all pulling around 10k each, and we wiped 6 times on Archbishop Benedictus. The longer that fight goes, the more purple pools you get, and it gets very messy. The healer was losing his mind on the DPS by wipe 3, and he was whispering me to initiate kicks or to start yelling at them all. So, I voted to kick him instead, and we got a new healer and eventually dropped the boss. People have to get gear somehow...and getting booted from dungeons because the RNG unluckily grouped 3 low DPS isn't the fault of anyone.
Jan 6th 2012 9:19AM Is there a way to prevent people from rolling on gear they already have from the LFR? This has been extremely frustrating.
Oct 21st 2011 5:06PM I've got a lot of stuff actually. Thanks to Basil, I've got 210k gold and about 150k sitting in inventory.
Oct 21st 2011 2:54PM Meh...I think it is a joke...look at the spelling and features list
Oct 21st 2011 2:48PM Please be a joke...or else this is the end of my WoW days.
Aug 29th 2011 4:30PM I've got five level 85's (rogue, pally, mage, hunter, DK), an 83 warrior, and a priest, warlock, shaman and druid all at 72. I cannot...CANNOT STAND NORTHREND anymore, so this is good news to me, because those 72's were going to stall for a long while otherwise.
