Aug 14th 2006 10:22AM In regards to the "Raiding guilds were designed around 40 people, plain and simple. It's been that way for 2 years, and to change it now is so ridiculously shortsighted." argument:
There are a lot of guilds who have a maximum of 25 members, and I venture the guess that most guilds have way less than 40 players, so thumbs up to Blizzard for recognizing that.
And I believe that one of the next content patches will bring more 40-man raid instances, so I'd very much like them to stop complaining about being treated unfair.
Just my 2c.
Aug 9th 2006 9:34AM My biggest pet peeve is people mocking roleplayers on a goddamn RP server. Why do they roll a char on an RP server if they hate RP?
Second-biggest pet peeve: people who can't write or refuse to type straight sentences. Again, I'm talking about RP servers. It's not IRC, so why are they insisting on typing "u come 2 ZF kthx"?
Aug 8th 2006 9:19AM Tooting our own horn(s), I have to say, I think our guild name is pretty funny: "Cluckwork Orange". We wear orange tabards and run around with pet chickens all the time.
May 10th 2006 9:16AM Uh-oh. I certainly hope this is going to be better than the DnD movies (14% @ metacritic.com).
Apr 18th 2006 8:49AM That's not a macro, that's an emote, silly. :P
Apr 13th 2006 12:36PM You forgot to mention the abilities to subscribe to or import webcal/ICS calendar, built-in iCal export, the option to set up several independent calendars and several other things. Adding an appointment via Quick Add like this: "cool appointment, next tuesday 20:00 30 minutes" pretty much rocks. :)
I play for the "good team" in real life... but I have to say, it's a nice product they have there.
Apr 6th 2006 10:43AM I witnessed light snowfall in Dun Morogh the other night. It was quite beautiful... First, some sort of light fog appeared over the course of 30 secs, then a few single snowflakes fell, then a few more. There even were some dark'ish clouds in the sky.
Quite nice, quite peaceful.
I think using the weather effects sparingly is a good idea, so the "wow" effect (pun intended) won't wear off that fast.
That being said: I wish I'd see rain one day. Or a full-blown snow storm.
Feb 28th 2006 6:26AM You will NEVER EVER talk about this again.
Never. Ever. Seriously. Don't.
You're freaking me out.
Jan 12th 2006 3:58AM It's a pain in the ass, yes. I especially love it when you whisper these people, telling them to back off, and they ask "why" (like this -- no question marks or anything, just "why").
Seriously, I have no idea what's going on in their heads.
