Mar 12th 2012 11:18AM Started as a Belf Hunter. Switched to Alliance pretty fast... human mage. Since then, I've picked up alts that include: gnome rogue, human hunter, human pally, and a human warrior. I've played around on a DK, and even tried a warlock for about a day or two. The only time I've worked with a healer more than trying to learn my boyfriend's pally is to play a Drae Priest... and I HATED it. Hated. Too much work to KILL things. I like killing things. :)
So, I've stayed away from healing. I did, however, just start up a Dwarf Shaman.. and I plan to go Elemental. We'll see. :) In general, though, this girl likes to PvP/killlll. Not heal.
Feb 7th 2012 10:23AM Mage Ports, for sure. Enchants, too... and the girlfriend of one of the main PvP healers, so I get to tag along on things sometimes. Don't roll your eyes at that part, please. I do my part. My DPS rocks. :p
I'm also the achievement girl, which is my favorite part!
Jan 23rd 2012 10:53AM Enchanting has served me well - as does disenchanting! Lots of folks bring me things to D/E so they can sell mats or use them on their own enchants as they level. Tailoring was my other prof selection, which didn't really make me lots of money throughout, but now that both my profs are maxed, I see that they serve me better for a little flow of money.
Jewelcrafting and mining at the others I've seen... thankfully, my boyfriend has those two, so we do pretty well as a team. ;)
Dec 29th 2011 11:51AM Puh-leeeeease? :)
Dec 7th 2011 1:48PM It's funny to me to just type &$#^ and see how fast people complain that they have the box unchecked! They're BAFFLED that those are actual keys that can be pressed into the chatbox. Sigh.
Oct 31st 2011 11:45AM Someone mentioned something like this earlier, but I think a really, really rare huge and beautiful mount that could hold a whole party of 10 would be fun - especially when dropping in on enemies. Recently moved to a PvP server, so I'm kinda having fun with all that stuff right now. :) Would probably be very expensive, or only drops in the rarest of situations,.. OR! Maybe you only get to use it for brief periods of time before it disappears from your collection.
Oct 28th 2011 1:37PM LMAO!!!!!!!!!
Sep 12th 2011 3:50PM Don't. I laughed. LOL...
Aug 31st 2011 11:14AM I'm most familiar with Elwynn, but can get irritated with it when I start a new toon to try and forget that I'm not a big kid with kills. lol
I loved starting my goblin, though. I'm terrible at the car part (Yes, I'm a girl... and yes, I've heard all the jokes.), but it's fun and the goblins make me laugh a lot.
I'd like to start a Tauren and a Worgen, though - now that I've read some of these comments.
(I did not like the Draenai area... it seems to be pretty popular, but I was alone there for about 18 levels... that's not fun for me, so I didn't enjoy the environment.)
Aug 26th 2011 1:42PM From the other side of the coin...
I'm relatively new. I've only been playing WoW for 8-9 months, and have only had a lvl 85 toon for about 6 weeks or so. I feel like everything you have to learn and know to be GOOD comes NOW. It seems that way for me, anyway. Sure, there are basic things that get you through the games as you level, but gear, boss fights, working as a team on things, gear, dailies, spell rotations, gear.. did I say gear? Yeah, that's all been such a learning curve for me. Gemming, reforging, good enchants - the whole thing. I heard more times than I can remember to: "Don't worry about that until you're 85." Well, now I am, and I wish I had spent more time along the way really understanding it all. Because while I am lucky enough to be in a guild that has some really smart and understanding members, and a great GM and officer team, I am still struggling a little bit. I am my own worst critic, of course - most girls are, but I'd just like to say that I'm really appreciative in groups where people take two seconds to answer my questions (I do ask at appropriate times, by the way) or to offer something helpful for me to know - so that I can, in turn, be helpful in the fights. Yelling, bitching, making assumptions... it's overrated. Just be helpful if someone is genuine about needing it. And for GOODNESS SAKES! If I tell you I'm new here, and you want me to sheep something - mark it, point to it, or SOMETHING! :)
