Spiritual Guidance: The Undying experience of a Priest {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2009 9:41AM Lol I'm glad that you took the time out of your day to dig into the psyche that is Hmmph. Yes i got the achievement last week. This is very, very true.

The reason for this is simple. I believe someone else took an excerpt from one of my previous comments. I think Naxx 10 is a joke. I don't have one stitch of pride in any of the acheivements that I've gained in the aformentioned raid due to the fact that it is so trivial.

There is a lot of time invested in this game by the people who play enough to get to the point of BEING in Naxx. So my question is... "Why be bad?". Why waste week after week dying and QQ-ing with the major player percentage that do not have these acheivements?

I dunno, maybe I'm being a jerk. I will say this much...It's not like i did it by myself. It obviously takes 9 other people (granted you go with a full group). I play on a high pop server that's been around since Vanilla - so i have a vast player-base to choose TO or NOT TO play with. I made a choice from the very start pf playing the game that I'd be in the best guild in my server. Frankly, because who wants to dump a heap of time into something and not only walk away with nothing palpable, but also add in the "being bad" factor and well, all you have at the end of the day is a steaming pile of waste.

Point is, if you know how to play your class the right way and have been conscious through naxx at least once, It's so mind-numbingly easy. If you somehow cannot find 9 other people on your server that also know how to play the right way, then why waste your time even attempting? Server transfer and find a player-base of competency.

If you are still reading this wall of text, you are more than likely looking to pick it apart and continue flaming me. Go ahead. But to anyone who agrees with the basic ideals of my point, please pay it forward.

Spiritual Guidance: The Undying experience of a Priest {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2009 1:14AM This acheivement is cake. Plain and simple. Naxx 10 is a complete and utter joke. I feel that If at this point in the game, you do NOT have the title, then you aren't terrible, you're just bad.

All of the information in this post seems to be just a bunch of filler that's been said a week or two after wrath was released. Let's take the focus off of trivial acheivements and focus on pertinent information related to the priest class. This has been nothing more than vague tips offering almost nothing to someone looking to gain information about their class.

But...if you have a baddie following of people that like to read this garbage, I guess the argument can be made that baddies think alike.

Ready Check: Sartharion {WoW}

Feb 14th 2009 7:37PM And Im referring to Sartharion with 3 Drakes up. Sorry if there was any confusion...

Ready Check: Sartharion {WoW}

Feb 14th 2009 7:33PM This encounter can really suck even with some of the most skilled players.

RNG plays a very big factor. The relationship between what side a lava wall spawns on and when a Drake descends upon the raid can determine a wipe or win.

There have been multiple time in which everything is going smoothly, then along comes an "East" call (the side in which there is only one hole for the raid to run to) - "Oh snap here comes [insert drakes name here]....and pwnt. Raid wipe.

Good luck on your calls!

Believe it or Don't: Patch 3.1 notes leaked? [Updated] {WoW}

Jan 31st 2009 11:12PM I'll chime in with my 2 cents on this one. I posted this in my guild's forums just to get some ideas of what they thought. Fake? Yes. That is apparant.

Biogenesis: "Blizzard just buffed feral shapeshifting, and that itself would totally destroy the class."

Me @ "• Force of Nature: Treants summoned by this spell are now immune to area of effect spells. They may now also cast Moonfire and Rejuvenation.": lawl.

I'll be honest though, whoever took the time to create this elaborate list of patch notes has some very good ideas and I'm sure quite a few of them are right on par with the Blizzard Development Team's plans for the future, but come on...These notes would be a nuke to the current mechanics of the game, and furthermore, some of these "changes" would completely negate recent changes that JUST went into effect.

(i.e. lowered CD for WG and CoH so soon?...nah)
