Aug 31st 2011 8:48AM I can't pick one favorite, but I have to give a shout out for the revamped troll starting zone. It really feels like a training zone, like you're being prepared for the tasks that lie ahead of you. The tragedy of Zuni gives it a poignant twist. Plus, I was pre-disposed to love it because of Baron Soosdon's "Trolled Escapism" machinima... Trolls, mon! Good stuff.
Jul 29th 2011 8:18AM This is what I love about the game: people who do awesome things like this. :)
Jul 20th 2011 1:36PM That's a thought, thank you. When she's big enough to tame one of the purple or red ones, I may do that.
Jul 20th 2011 10:53AM One of my hunters has a Pharaonic pun for a name, and I'm using an Egyptian theme for her pets. Her starting pet is Neith, for the goddess of hunting and (appropriately for a spider) weaving. Her next tame was the shiny golden rare cat in Stranglethorn, who I named Bastet of course. In Western Plaguelands she tamed one of the skeletal vultures summoned in a quest, and that one's called Nekhbet for the Egyptian vulture goddess. She also has an Anubis in the form of a runed demon dog. I wish there was a tamable beast that actually looks like a jackal, though. None of the wolves even come close.
Suggestions for future Egyptian names/pets are welcome. :)

"your friend, along with every other hunter and dps here, is not paying 15 bucks a month to not dps."
Nobody's saying DPS classes should stand around doing nothing. But how hard is it to watch your threat and adjust your damage output if needed? "Working smartly" is, in fact, more than just going nuts on every mob in front of you.
Nov 1st 2010 11:39AM "And finally we come to the great secret of the DPS classes: You can stop attacking. If your threat generation exceeds your tank's, you can always slow your DPS or stop it entirely."
I wish all players of DPS classes would take this advice to heart. I know someone who regularly gets killed and blames the tank and/or healer. Sure, it's fun to be the top on the DPS chart. But as I keep saying, you can't DPS when you're dead.

"For those of you who like your new pet names, we’re working on a feature for a future patch that will allow you to refresh your summons and essentially generate a random pet name without having to level a new warlock."
Blue post. The fact.
Oct 19th 2010 3:18AM I mean, it's not fixed YET. Yes, there's a promised fix but it hasn't gone through. WTB either clarity or sleep!
Oct 19th 2010 3:15AM I really like his style!
Oct 19th 2010 3:10AM I wouldn't say the warlock pet name issue is fixed. They said they'd fix it, but I still have the wrong demons.
