Oct 24th 2011 10:04PM Have to say, I know exactly how you feel, I've been in a very similar boat myself.
The solution thats sort of worked for us was for me to get a little more hardcore, if/when people didn't show up, ask them very publicly about where they were, and if they'd like to say anything to the players they let down. If they seem to be not taking it seriously, drop them from the raid team for the time being at least. This will undoubtedly cause all kinds of aggro, but it is worth remembering [and pointing out] that the other members of the family who are complaining are often the ones who got let down anyway.
One last thing, "I cannot so much as take a weekend away without harming my guildmates, and am absolutely sure that my exiting or even taking a break will lead to the collapse of the guild."
If you take a weekend off, and they can't be bothered to try a raid, then its not you harming them, its them being lazy gits. The advice above about having a raid leader run a raid while you take a step back is valuable, and worth some breathing space for you.
Don't be afraid to recruit, and replace no-showers. Odds are the rest of the guild are wanting you to do that anyway. Good luck :)
Oct 24th 2011 9:49PM Ok, can live with that, so long as we get to bump off Garrosh, the power-crazy slimy little toe-rag.
Oct 24th 2011 9:28PM I'm all for an all-out war between Horde and Allies, it would be ideal if somehow they made it dependant on the pvp battles on each server, different outcome per server. This won't happen, pity, it would be good to see and feel we were getting some kind of reward for the time put into pvp.
As a Hordy, I'm hoping beyond hope that someone kicks Garrosh's ass so we can get Thrall back. Can't say I really care about Theramore, but it seems like an obvious target, with Tarren Mill being wiped out as the response..
It seems like everything that could be 25 manned has been 25 manned, so now its time to see who owns the world :)

Bring on the down-rating!!
Mar 4th 2010 6:56PM One of the more prevalent arguments against removing ammo earlier in 3.0x was the problems it would cause for engineers. Now we're meant to worry about rogues as well? Isn't it about time that hunters were treated as their own class, and not being held hostage to others whims and emotions? If were going to use that argument, rogues already have this option, to vary effects on weapons [you call it poison, we would call it ammo] so how about letting us catch up?
Another option for ammo. Get rid of stings, specific shots, make it all ammo related. Serpent sting = serpent arrow, with venom on it. Arcane shot = magically boosted arrow etc. Have the interactions vary according to whatever other arrows have hit the target. [this is all as is currently] Then add in a few more, fire, buckshot etc. Even a couple of different options would make a big difference to us all.
Feb 22nd 2010 8:53PM Yeah, thats the equivalent of a spreadsheet, I'm just after an equivalent of this article, with a few more trinkets thrown in, eg 5 flights etc
Feb 22nd 2010 2:58PM It would be useful to get a broader list like this for comparison purposes, yet am unable to find one online. Most people point towards spreadsheets, but I'm unable to work those things out. Anyone got helpful links?
Excellent article btw, thanks
