Facebook vs. World of Warcraft {WoW}
Dec 18th 2009 11:21AM This article supports the impression WoWinsider having little-to-nothing to write about anymore. Sure, there have been neat studies posted on here before, but comparing Facebook to WoW? I just don't see the merit.

A WoW player's guide to microtransactions {WoW}
Nov 5th 2009 1:55PM As much as I would love to believe that Blizzard would never offer anything other than vanity items for cash, 'slippery slope' does come to mind. We have to remember that Activision probably played a role in this, too. They've done some of the worst micro-transactions the world has ever seen.
Let's just all hope they don't fuck with us. The day that any epics, even Naxx tier, are sold for cash, they'll see a monstrous decrease of the playerbase. Pets and mounts don't effect me too heavily, but they strike a chord. I'll admit: This worries me.
