Gold Capped: The downside of hoarding {WoW}

Dec 16th 2010 4:53PM I started farming the night Cata dropped, on my hunter, who is herb/miner. So far, he is level 82 just off of farming. :) In between runs, I leveled my mage to 85, who is my enchanter. I leveled my enchanting enough to be able to disenchant most items (some require 475 de, others 500)

As of right now, I have made 60+ k gold, and it has been incredibly easy. Watching the market for crafted goods, such as enchants, the price is so low you might as well give them away. So all my profs are on hold, until the supply surpasses the demand. So far on my server, this hasn't happened. This morning I was still selling stacks of whiptail for over 300 gold per stack, Elementium for over 200 gold per stack. And stuff is selling well, people.

My goal was to make as much gold as possible, and once the markets settle, take my time leveling my toons, leveling all my profs, etc. Having a large bank roll helps when you need to gem/enchant a new 85, you aren't vendoring things for some quick gold, not borrowing from a friend, not out trying to grind out some dailies to get the cash you need. Even if you only have 1 level 85, having a large stash to fall back on is a great way to go. I look at my game play, and want to utilize the time I spend in game to be the most profitable as I can. After all, my time is game is time in real life I am using to play said game, and I want it to be enjoyable as possible. Don't hoard that stuff, sell it while its selling. Once that gold starts flowing into your mailbox, a smile will appear on your face. :)

Tuesday Morning Post: Shattered edition {WoW}

Nov 23rd 2010 5:37AM THE SUNDERING IS UPON US! HIDE YOUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN! (Except for you fighting women that is!)

Gather together, and let us strike that fat overgrown dragon out of the sky!

(If you see a troll mage go running by on fire, that would probably be me in my failed attempt to down Deathwing!)

Time between Cataclysm pre-event phases ramping up {WoW}

Nov 15th 2010 1:16AM I noticed when I logged into my pally that I was downloading some patch info. I think 4.03 is right around the corner, and the shattering will happen probably a week or so before release. It is going to be CHAOS for awhile, and a week or so before release would let us get settled in a bit and ready to tear some shiznit up!

Servers are coming up [updated x3] {WoW}

Oct 12th 2010 8:05PM Realms are coming up! Booyaa! Prepare for the chaos!

Breakfast Topic: I can do what all weekend? {WoW}

Oct 7th 2010 8:05AM Well, I have gotten a bit hooked on achievements on my main, so I think I would continue to try and knock out as many as I could, especially before Cata comes along. The world, she's a changing!

Breakfast Topic: Slowbies, what's first on your Cataclysm to-do list? {WoW}

Oct 6th 2010 10:12AM Totally understand what you are saying. There is really so much you can do with one character, I just keep slowly working on all of my guys.

I had to laugh though, at your "human" hunter. You are a "human" playing a game to play a "human" and call BE's gay? Seriously? I guess, to each his own, but pretty funny. (I'm not a huge fan of BE's myself, but man, talk about the kettle calling the pot black)

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: The enemy that never comes {WoW}

Oct 1st 2010 10:46AM I play Horde pretty much exclusively, on a couple different servers. One is Alliance heavy, the other Horde. So I've been on both sides in Wintergrasp, where you are running around with 20 Tenacity and getting punted around anyway, or you are the one doing the punting. I have to admit, it was fun the first couple of times having overwhelming odds. And then that went away. I MUCH prefer as even of odds as we can get. Then I can put it all out on the battlefield, and if I win, it was because I played my character as best as I could, not because I had ten guys helping me against one.

Cataclysm: Justice point conversion revised {WoW}

Sep 29th 2010 12:39PM Well then. (Puts on overalls and grabs pitch fork) I'm off to farm. Glad I didn't convert my emblems down for gold like some people did. :)

Breakfast Topic: When it is time to choose a new main spec? {WoW}

Sep 6th 2010 8:06AM Avoiding burnout for me. As well, I try to be as useful to a guild as possible, so if I'm playing a class that I can do more then dps, I like to try and get familiar with healing/tanking whatever we may need. I may not be the best at any of them, but I'll give you all I got. :)
