Ask a Lore Nerd: Of Nerubians, Dwarves and Titans {WoW}

Jun 17th 2009 7:58PM Yeah, he may not be perfect.
It's not as though hes acting out like he hates everyone.
It's not as if he's acting as a leader to a group he has little claim to be the leader of.
And as far as the whole Garrosh thing, you keep your friends close and your enemies closer. He is keeping him as close as possible to allow himself a good view of what Garrosh really thinks. Grom wasn't the greatest person in the world, so his son wont be much better, so Thrall keeps him close.
And he really didn't "disband" all of the other Orc clans, thats more of a tribute to the wars that were waged by his forfathers and the subsequent imprisonment that they recieved at the hands of the humans.
As for the Shadow Council and the Forsaken, they are under control. When after level 30 do you deal with the Shadow Council(please feel free to flame if I am wrong)? And the Forsaken aren't the people that are causing al of the ruckus, its the members of the Forsaken that are still members of the Scourge who are proliferating hate. Thrall has instaled Sylvannas, who has had some issues here self with the people she calls friends, but she wasn't exactly fighting against Varian during the whole Wrathgate questline. She stood back and watched as Garrosh and Varian, two hot-head they are, go at it. The Undercity is/was being used for two reasons, and is no different than a military run lab, pull out the good stuff when important people come out, and get back to the real work after they leave. Some leaders never see this.

Jun 17th 2009 5:26AM What's with the Thrall hating? Just because he is will to allow someone he fought with in Warcraft III to lead the Undead, doen't mean he is turning a blind eye. He is trying to bring proper Orcishness back(Shamanism), and you look at it as poor leadership. He is doing his best with castoffs, and groups that other wont take. Give him a break.
