Apr 4th 2012 9:47AM Since it takes the visible slot of a pet... the little ghost from my Haunted Memento is my favorite pet.
If I had to pick a true pet, maybe my Azure Whelpling or Spirit of Competition.
Mar 29th 2012 10:52PM Tales of the Past is Lore the way the creators Wanted it. And to be honest, much of it is lore the way a lot of the people watching it wanted it.
It's not cannon, and inconsistencies occur, but this is still one of the all time great WoW machinimas out there.
PS. I'm sorry people get offended by the mention of God. When Warcraft originally came out, demons were from Hell. Lore changed, and continues to change.
Mar 26th 2012 6:52PM Allowing himself any kind of interrupt (say... using the hourglass himself, which will also speed him up) to deal with total obedience, Murozond wins this. 5 interrupts plus a pile of aoe on the ground will deal with any control, and he'll just eat the magi.
Mar 24th 2012 6:34PM I have the feeling that there will be a LOT of names referencing the Kung Fu series. At least among people who remember it.
Mar 24th 2012 6:28PM I've seen maybe 2 instances of outdoor roleplay on moon guard, and 1 piece of tentacle rape in trade chat(which might happen somewhere else too). otherwise it looks and acts like a normal realm that had a lot of people in old tier kits, before transmog. (I also gave up on the realm very quickly in part due to the lack of activity)
Mar 21st 2012 6:18PM Erm, this is all Maiden of Virtue.
I think you linked the wrong vid.
Mar 21st 2012 6:14PM Story/lore-wise this is a joke. All the echoes are echoes, broken, time-lost, shadowy fragments of their former selves. Not a one of them should have half a chance in hell against the story scale of a raid boss. It doesn't matter that Sylvanas or any other echo is a badass in their real forms, these aren't they're real forms. I know she has great big... fans and such, but this isn't really the character people are fans of.
Mechanics wise - Zonozz's only problem will be getting through the little hole after he kills a ghoul, and getting his fat mass out of purple crap. Otherwise, his damage output is significantly higher. (even considering damage similar, Sylvanas doesn't hit hard, she just has nasty avoid mechanics, counterable with intelligence and brute force.)
So Zonozz wins this, hands down. (OK, I know damn well that with fans, Sylvanas will beat just about anyone in this contest, but in my world, none of the echoes are worth anything.)
Mar 21st 2012 5:01PM I feel in many ways, that what Bliz has done with the Forsaken and Garrosh, are the primary holes they've dug for neutral factions.
Garrosh, we now know we're going to do something about. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he turns into one of those "I know I made a mistake, but my pride is too strong so now I'm going to back myself into a corner and tragically die now," stock figures. But something will be done.
In just about any other game, the current Forsaken would not just not be PC's, Undercity would be a raid. From somewhat sinister, they've gone to crazy, evil, sociopaths, bent on world destruction/domination. They've simply pushed Sylvanas and her ilk too far over the brink. There either needs to be a correction, either in personality, or by killing her. Unfortunately, she has a ginormous fan base, including within Bliz, so they're going to need a hell of a ladder to climb out of the hole.
And it bothers me, because one of the things that the Wrathgate quest chain(and actually much of the associated vanilla/bc blight quests) was that Varimathras was largely in charge of the creation and implementation of the Blight. Sylvanas had what felt like a hand in a cookie jar that she didn't know didn't have cookies in it. They had an opportunity with the siege of of Undercity, and Varimathras' death, to get the Forsaken away from all that. To have purged the insanity, regained some respect, and turned into if not nice, at least a more reasonable group. Instead they wen't the other way, and are digging to reach China.
Mar 18th 2012 8:38PM The alliance similarity is Camp Taurajo... or the burning ghost and looter filled remnants of it. Neither is revenge for the other, neither action is really supported by the larger contingent of it's faction. (Horde hates blight, Alliance aren't generally quite that scummy)
So Blizzard does put some effort into keeping it even... just not in an obvious tit for tat way.
That said... I don't know if there's an equivalent to ashenvale... maybe stonard?
